My card today is yet another sneak peek – just think – starting next Wednesday – it won’t be sneak peeks and I will NOT have to tell you you can’t get these goodies quite this minute! Yes – you’ll be able to get ALL of these – the Delicate Pines bundle and the Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack – on 3 Sept 2025! Whoo-hoo! Take a look-see:
Oh – did I mention that it’s a super easy fun fold? I thought it worked perfectly for the sketch at The Paper Players this week.
I started with a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock that I scored and folded at 5 1/2″. That created the easy fun fold card base.
For the inside of the card – I used one of the large new Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack cards – cutting it down to 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ and matting it on Mossy Meadow cardstock. How gorgeous is the font on that sentiment?!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the matted panel to the inside of the card base – and added a Real Red Traditional Sparkling Sequin (also coming on 3 Sept) just cuz I could!
On the front side, I embossed the darker side of a piece of Pecan Pie Two-Toned cardstock in the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder. Using a craft sanding block, I lightly sanded the raised portions to bring out the wood-grain.
I matted the panel on Mossy Meadow and adhered it to the short panel of the card base with Liquid Glue.
I cut a second – tree-strewn – large card from the Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack down to 3 3/8” x 4 3/8” and matted it on Mossy Meadow to make the flap on the front.
Using Stampin’ Seal +, I adhered a loop-d-loop bow of new Irregular Weave 3/8″ Trim (available 3 Sept) to the panel.
Using the Delicate Pines die set, I cut out:
– Three solid pine cones from the lighter side of the Pecan Pie Two-Toned cardstock.
– Three detailed pine cones from the darker side of the Pecan Pie Two-Toned cardstock. Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the solid pine cone die cuts.
– Three small pine boughs from Old Olive cardstock.
– One snowflake from a Gold Foil Sheet.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the three Old Olive boughs together at the center – then adhered the whole thing to the middle of the Gold Foil snowflake.
On a 1/2″ wide strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Delicate Pines sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink. Using scissors, I snipped the banner to fit the sentiment.
I placed my front flap into position on the card base and used that to determine where the sentiment needed to go. Then, based on that, I adhered my layered snowflake to the card front – over the trim – with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered the sentiment with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals – then tucked the pinecones into the collage, adhering them with Liquid Glue.
Then I added three Real Red Traditional Sparkling Sequins to finish it off.
Using Liquid Glue on the smaller front panel of the card base, I adhered the flap to it – centering it on the entire card base – and ensuring that the sentiment on the back liner was not visible when the card is closed. And – the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the pine bough from Delicate Pines in Mossy Meadow ink on the front…
…and more Birch Wood embossed and sanded Pecan Pie Two-Toned cardstock on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – the addition of the sentiment and die cuts from the new Delicate Pines bundle to a few beautiful card designs from the new Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack – is like a match made in heaven! And I love this easy-peasy fun fold, don’t you?!
