Stampin’ Up! Pretty Florals in Sweet Bloom Sneak Peek with Video Tutorial

Good morning and happy weekend-eve!  Hope you’ve got good weather as we head into the first weekend in Spring – and…minimal pollen!!  We’re getting typical GA Spring weather – warm and sunny one day and blustery and COOOOLD the next!  It’ll figure it out soon enough!

My card today will make you think of Spring, for sure!  It features a Sneak Peek at another beautiful new Suite in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog – the Florals in Bloom Suite – which you’ll be able to pick up on the 6th of May!!  It’s got all the flowers you’d like – between the Florals in Bloom DSP, the Sweet Blooms and Pretty Florals bundles – we’ve got your garden-on-a-card!  And – it’s a great showcase for how well our new 2025-2027 In Colors work with each other.  Take a look-see:

I started with two pieces of the gorgeous Florals in Bloom DSP – y;’all – this is simply stunning paper!

I adhered the 3 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Secret Sea  paper – with the light hash-marks – to the front of a Timid Tiger card base using Liquid Glue.  The other sheet – 4 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ – I scored on the short side at 1″.  I folded the DSP and used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the larger side of the DSP panel – letting the Strawberry Slush side show!  Then I adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the dies in the Sweet Blooms die set – I cut out a Basic White shadow and a Strawberry Slush detailed “Lovely” sentiment.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere the detailed die cut to its shadow.

I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used the leaf die from Pretty Florals to cut out a Summer Splash leaf and a smaller die to cut out two Cloud Cover small leaves. I also used a die from the set to cut out three little yellow roses from the Florals in Bloom DSP.  I LOVE when you can do that!

I adhered the Summer Splash leaf, one Cloud Cover leaf, then one die cut flower and the second Cloud Cover leaf with Liquid Glue.  I slid a second die cut flower under it all (under the top of the “l”) – securing it with Liquid Glue.

I tied a little Linen Thread bow and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the words “have a” and “day” from the Sweet Blooms set in Secret Sea ink.  I snipped them down to size and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added the final die cut DSP flower with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

A few new Timid Tiger 2025-20267 In Color Flat Pearls (part of the Suite and also available on 6 May!) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I first stamped the large sentiment from Sweet Blooms in Strawberry Slush on a Basic White panel.  Then I added the smaller sentiment in Secret Sky.  In the corner, I stamped the Pretty Florals stem in Summer Splash ink.  I stamped a detailed three-flower image in Timid Tiger and then added the fill (second step) in stamped-off-once Darling Duckling.  I added some Timid Tiger 2025-20267 In Color Flat Pearls.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Timid Tiger card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Pretty Florals flowers on the front…

…and more Florals in Bloom DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Well – here’s another FAVORITE new Suite.  Hey – I can have more than ONE!!  This Florals in Bloom Suite – with the DSP by the same name – is just perfect for all your “paper gardening”!  It’s so bright and sunny and perfectly showcases our 2025-2027 In Colors working perfectly together!  I love the two bundles that anchor the suite – the Sweet Blooms and Pretty Florals – with gorgeous die cuts – including pretty die cut sentiments!

Finn Fan Fix

Finn was so happy we took his little bed with us to OnStage last week.

But – it was a little uncomfortable IN the kennel.

So – we moved it OUT of the kennel and then left the door open for him at night so he could pick where he slept.

Always good to have options, right?!?

Such a pretty card! Love the layering and the pretty designer paper! Yep…little bed or big kennel, definitely good to have options. And I’m assuming that he picked the little bed. 😂

Until he moved!! :). Never knew where he’d end up – usually on the cold tile in the kitchen! Thanks, Amy! 🙂
