Stampin’ Up! Heart Shaped Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

We’ve got a bunch of fun new – and FREE! – products to select from when you make purchases during our 2025 Sale-a-Bration!  So – there was plenty to pick from for our challengs this week. I ended up with the gorgeous Heart Shaped Bundle (free with a $120 purchase) and the Starstruck Embossing Folder and Bloom Impressions DSP (both freebies at the $60 level).  I used them all to make a pretty thank you card.  Take a look-see:

And – here’s our challenge!

I started by adhering a pretty Peach Pie piece of paper from the new – and free-with-$60-purchase Bloom Impressions DSP to a Basic Black panel for the card front.

For the middle section, I first cut out the pretty Heart Shaped die from a 3″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic Black cardstock – making sure to keep the center piece of the die cut..

I placed the panel – with that extra piece in place – inside the new Starstruck Embossing Folder (another $60-level freebie during Sale-a-Bration) and embossed the whole thing.

I set the embossed panel in place on the card front and used it as a guide to adhere a small piece (about 2 7/8″ x 3 1/4″) of Peach Pie cardstock onto the card front – behind the die cut heart.

Then I used Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the embossed panel – and the middle cut-out piece –  onto the card front.

I stamped the Heart Shaped stamp set’s sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of Peach Pie cardstock.  Using the die in the Heart Shaped set – I cut out the sentiment.

Using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered the sentiment to the card front.

I cut out three Basic White flowers and three leaves from Shy Shamrock 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper.  Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the flowers – with their leaves – to the sentiment and to the card front.

I added a Peach Pie 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gem to each flower and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the pretty heart from the Heart Shaped set in Peach Pie on a Basic White panel.  In the middle, I stamped another Heart Shaped sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Peach Pie card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Heart Shaped heart in Peach Pie ink on the front…

…and more of the Bloom Impressions DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  ALL the major elements of this card were free with a purchase (during Sale-A-Bration thru the end of February)!  The stunning Heart Shaped bundle – free at the $120 level – is one of the prettiest sets I’ve seen in a while – between the die cuts and stamped images and sentiments!  Having the Starstruck Embossing Folder and Bloom Impressions DSP (both free at the $60 level) is a nice complement to the other free goodies you can choose!!
