Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop! Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Love! Be sure to check out everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!
Now – it y’all haven’t discovered our AMAZING new Mix & Match Ephemera Packs – you NEED to look on page 13 in your new Jan-Apr 2025 Mini Catalog. You’ll see that we have five new packs. As their names imply – they’re designed to be used together or alone or with stamp sets and DSP! For my card today – I used the new Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards and Envelopes – and then three new packs – the Celebrate Love, Birthday Treats and Florals & Washes Mix & Match Ephemera Packs. No inking. No stamping! Boom! Take a look-see:
I did a quick video on how to make this cool card, which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I pulled out a Balmy Blue Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Card and the coordinating envelope.
From the Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack – I used one of the big Bubble Bath lattice die cuts – adhering it to the front of the card base with Liquid Glue.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered two floral swags from the Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack in the corners.
I started the center collage by adhering a lacy die cut strip from Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack with Liquid Glue. Then I added a woodgrain tag from the Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.
I “deconstructed” a heart from the Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and adhered the two outline hearts with Liquid Glue.
The center heart – with the leaves – I adhered to another die cut from the Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack – a Melon Mambo heart.
I added another die cut from Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack – the little flowers and leaves – with Liquid Glue.
Then I adhered the layered-up Melon Mambo heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a bow using two lengths of Gold Twisted Thread and adhered it using a little Liquid Glue.
The sentiment, from the Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, is adhered with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used my Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends and the Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker to color four leaves from the Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.
I tucked the colored leaves into the collage – securing them with Liquid Glue. Then I added some new Antique Pearls and the card front was done! And – no inky fingers! 🙂
On the inside of the card base, I adhered another floral swag from the Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack using Liquid Glue and the card was done!
For the envelope – already pretty in Balmy Blue – I simply adhered a small floral die cut from the Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack on the front with Liquid Glue.
Et Voila! So…if you’ve been on the fence about picking up these Ephemera Packs – please climb on over! They are wonderfully versatile and have so many pretty florals and tags and sentiments and geometric shapes and and and….each pack has simply TONS of beautiful elements to use on their own or with other Stampin’ Up! products! The three I used today – Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and the Florals & Washes Mix & Match Ephemera Pack are a great spot to start gathering them up! And don’t forget a pack or two of the Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes. They’re a GREAT place to start your projects.
