Stampin’ Up! Fruity Day to Celebrate Birthday Card

Good morning and happy Monday!  Just so you know – we’re past the half-way point to reaching the $2000 fundraiser goal!  We’ve got today and tomorrow to get to our goal so that we can send some help to So Cal.  And so I can give away a new Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine!  Here’s the link to make a directed donation to the LA Fire Effort with the Greater Good Organization! Just send me a screenshot of your donation and…you’ll be entered to win with my sincere gratitude.  Or – place an order thru my Online Store – and I’ll donate 20% of the retail amount of your order! Or – help even more and do BOTH – and get TWO entries!

My card today is made up of…like…82% FREE Stampin’ Up! products!  Yup – you can get a pack of fun Fruit Salad 6″ x 6″ DSP and the Day to Celebrate stamp set for free during Sale-a-Bration when you make a $60 purchase by the end of February!  Put them together for this quick Birthday card.  Take a look-see:

Stampin' Up! Fruity Day to Celebrate Birthday Card - Stamps-N-Lingers

The layout for this one was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I did a quick video on how to make this fun card, which is posted on Instagram.  If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!

I started by adhering some Fruit Salad 6″ x 6″ DSP – in a watermelon design – to the front of a Real Red card base using Liquid Glue.

I adhered a few more strips of the Fruit Salad DSP – starting with a Pumpkin Pie piece – using Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Daffodil Delight strip to the Coastal Cabana strip – layering it atop the larger strip and aligning the right edges.

Then I adhered that layered strip to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the largest Stylish Shapes circle die – I cut out a fruit-strewn piece of the Fruit Salad DSP.  I used the same largest Stylish Shapes circle die – and the next largest die – together – to cut out a Daffodil Delight cardstock frame.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the frame to the Fruit Salad circle.  Then I adhered the framed circle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow from two lengths of white Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Day to Celebrate sentiment in Real Red ink on a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die. Then I adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used little teensy dabs of Liquid Glue to adhere five Tiny Bee Trinkets and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the Day to Celebrate sentiment in Real Red on a Basic White panel.  In the corner, I stamped the confetti image three times in Daffodil Delight ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Real Red card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the confetti in Daffodil Delight on the front…

…and more Fruit Salad 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The only thing better than getting the bright and cheerful Fruit Salad 6″ x 6″ DSP and the cute Day to Celebrate stamp set is…getting them for FREE! Each of them is available during Sale-A-Bration – for free – with $60 orders! And – there’s tons to do with them, don’t you think!?
