Good morning and happy Friday! As I type this on Friday evening – we’ve got schools closing, Weather Alerts blowing up our phones, runs on bread and milk at the grocery. AND – my pilates class for today was cancelled three hours AGO! 🙁 So – I guess I’ll know in the morning – about the time this goes live – whether weather is REALLY a problem today – or…whether the weather man was wrong…again?! 🤷♀️
My card today is…not a “Mary” card. It’s only got one layer – there’s no bow (Farrah or otherwise) – and barely any bling. Thankfully it DOES have some Stampin’ Dimensionals or…all might well be lost! It’s a super easy – and pretty! – thank you card using the Mixed Florals stamp set and a sentiment from the With You in Mind set. Everyday Arches made a quick mask for my Blended frame (window??). Take a look-see:
I started by using the fifth-from-smallest die in the Everyday Arches to cut out an arch from the center of a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of cardstock. Note: it’s not a coincidence that that’s the exact same size as my card front. Nope, did that on purpose – it makes lining everything up SOOO much easier!
I temporarily adhered my Basic White card front to my work surface using some re-positionable adhesive. I put the mask over the top – securing it with sticky notes in the corners.
Using a Small Blending Brush, I added Fresh Freesia ink around the edges of the arch – leaving the middle mostly clear of ink.
When I had as much color as I wanted, I switched to Daffodil Delight for the middle of the arch.
I removed the mask and inked up one of the large Mixed Florals images in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamped it near the side of the panel.
I inked and stamped the With You in Mind sentiment in Tuxedo Black and stamped it as shown. Note – I snuggled the cross-bar of the “T’ into the stamped floral image.
I matted the panel on a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock.
For my “bling” – I used some Fresh Freesia Rainbow Adhesive-backed Dots and the card front was done. Note: you could even use Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds, maybe a few Brushed Brass Butterflies or a few Tiny Bee Trinkets if you’d rather!!
On the inside, I used the Small Blending Brushes again to add some Fresh Freesia and Daffodil Delight color in the bottom left corner of my Basic White panel. Then I stamped the Mixed Florals image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals (whew!) and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got more Fresh Freesia and Daffodil Delight blending ink, plus the Mixed Florals flower, on the front…
…and more light color and a different image from Mixed Florals on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Oh my – I do love the beautiful images in the Mixed Florals stamp set (there’s a bundled die set, too, but…didn’t even need it today!) – they’re simply gorgeous line-drawn images! It – and the new must-have-basic-shapes Everyday Arches die set – are Online Exclusives that you can get right now! This all-images set needs a sentiment and I pulled out the new uber-versatile With You in Mind stamp set (in the Jan-Apr 2025 Mini) to fill the bill.
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
It’s been bitter cold here for a few days.
Like…cold. Frozen water trough cold
Finn loves it.
Don’t bother me, Mom.
Cady is…shedding. It’s 20 degrees over night and she’s dropping hair like it’s April
Just goes to further prove – animal coatings have NOTHING to do with temperature. She coats up when the daylight shortens by 1 minute in the Fall (when it’s still 90 degrees) and sheds as soon as there’s an EXTRA minute of daylight – when it’s still well-digger-bucket COLD.
See? You learn WAY more than card-making here!
You’re welcome!

Such a pretty card Mary! The blended ink is beautiful with the floral image stamped over it! Yeah, hope that you all enjoy your 8 gallons of milk and 12 loves of bread while you watch it rain. 😂 The animals definitely have the right idea, no need to panic…just hang out and shed your coat the minute you get too hot. 🙂
Yup – they go with the flow temperature-wise! Thanks so much, Amy! 🙂
