Stampin’ Up! Faith Collection Storybook Sneak Peek Thinking of You Card

Good morning, y’all!  Just two more days in 2024 and then time to ring in a New Year!! Are you a resolution-maker?  I used make resolutions, but…I got tired of…never following thru. So – now I just say…try to do better than last year in all the things!  And yeah – sometimes I don’t make that one all the way, either!  But…I try! 🙂

My card today is another Sneak Peek – the turning of the calendar on Wednesday means we’re just a week away from the new Jan-Apr 2025 Mini catalog and a whole slew of amazing new Online Exclusives!  Like…the Faith Collection bundle, which is the star of this encouragement (or sympathy!) card!  A little Storybook Moments DSP (from the new Mini catalog) plays a key role!  Take a look-see:

I started by adhering a piece of the pretty new Storybook Moments DSP on an Early Espresso mat for the card front.

In the center of a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the beautiful pine-bough-strewn cross image from Faith Collection in Pretty Peacock ink.

On either side of the cross, I stamped the wood-cross image from the set in Pecan Pie ink.

Using a couple of Glue Dots in the middle of the panel, I wrapped some Flirty Flamingo Baker’s Twine around the card a few times.

Next, I built my center cross.  Using the dies in the bundled Faith Collection die set, I first cut out a solid Pecan Pie cross.  Then I put some Adhesive Sheet pieces on the back of a piece of Early Espresso cardstock and die cut the detailed cross from it.  I used those Adhesive Sheets to adhere the detailed cross to the solid cross.

I adhered the cross into place using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Faith Collection leaf image twice in Old Olive ink and used the coordinating die to cut them out.

I stamped the Faith Collection sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a strip of Basic White cardstock.  Placing the sentiment in position to use as a guide, I adhered the leaves using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I adhered the sentiment using double-stacked Dimensionals.

I popped the panel onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, added a few gold birds from the Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the leaf image from the Faith Collection set in stamped-off-once Old Olive on a Basic White panel.  I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock and added one more gold bird from the Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Flirty Flamingo card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Faith Collection leaf in Old Olive ink on the front…

…and more of the Storybook Moments DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love the images and sentiments and DIES in the new Faith Collection bundle – it’s nice to have such a pretty set as we head into Easter – but it’s also really good for sympathy and encouragement cards, too!  And the Storybook Moments DSP has way more than adorable bunnies to offer!  I love the “other side” designs, too!
