Good Sunday morning, y’all! Hope you’re having a great weekend! We spent yesterday indoors cuz…well. Summer in Georgia! And I knocked out a bunch of projects for a special…SURPRISE!…that I’ve got for you. It’s coming soon – and you’re going to want to take part. So…be watching for news in future posts! 🙂
But – for TODAY – I’ve got another Sneak Peek from the Sept – Dec 2024 Mini Catalog, which goes live to customers on 4 Sept! This one features the Peaceful Evergreens bundle and Season of Elegance Specialty DSP – both from the Season of Elegance Suite. But…I turned it into a birthday card – and it could for sure be for a MASCULINE birthday! – by snagging a sentiment from the Round We Go stamp set (in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog!). Take a look-see:
I’m not even going to take credit for the layout, y’all – it’s a hard CASE from the new catalog – those designers from SU are the bomb-diggity!! 🤷♀️
I started by embossing the NOT-gold-foil side of a piece of new Season of Elegance Specialty DSP in the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder (also part of this suite and available on 4 Sept!).
I wanted to pull out the embossing a little, so I used my Whisper White Craft Pad to “scrape” across the top of the raised design. I let the first coat dry and then did it a second time. Once THAT coat dried – I adhered it to the front of my Pecan Pie card base using Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the largest and the smallest tree images from the Peaceful Evergreens set in Misty Moonlight ink.
I cut them out with the coordinating dies in the bundled die set and then adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using Stampin’ Seal+ I added a couple of loops of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine.
On a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Round We Go set in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.
When it was cool – I cut it out with a Nested Essentials die and popped it over the twine with more Dimensionals.
I added three Adhesive-back Textured Dots and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the largest and smallest tree images in Misty Moonlight on a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Pecan Pie card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Misty Moonlight trees on the front…
…and a little more Season of Elegance Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila!! Oh my – the Season of Elegance Specialty DSP is gorgeous! Shiny gold foil accents on one side and pretty designs – they look like venetian plaster! – on the other! And the Peaceful Evergreens Bundle – you know this is one of my favorite new things, right?! Such pretty trees – and they work needle-in-bough with the new Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder! Wow!
