Stampin’ Up! Winterly Trees Sneak Peek Pine Framed Thank You Card with Video

Good morning and happy Friday!  Hope that you’ve had a good week and maybe have something fun planned for the weekend!?  Maybe??

I’ve got a Sneak Peek for you today – it’s another look at the Winterly Tree Tops bundle and coordinating Nests Of Winter DSP – all coming on 4 Sept 2024 in the new Sep-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog.  Yep – it’s that time again!  Take a look-see:

The layout was inspired by the sketch challenge from The Paper Players this week.

I started by adhering a piece of birch-bark paper from the new Nests of Winter DSP – I LOVE this paper so much!! – to the front of my Gray Granite card base using Liquid Glue.

I took a 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Gray Granite and the same size piece of Copper Clay cardstock and, using the large frame die from the Winterly Tree Tops die set, cut out two pine-bough frames.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the Gray Granite die cut to the card front.

Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added the Copper Clay die cut.  Note – you want the top die cut to be turned 180 degrees from the bottom cut so that the pine boughs will be OFFSET!

Using the Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blend, I colored a length of new White 3/8″ Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon.  This pretty ribbon is a new Online Exclusive that you’ll be able to get next week on 3 July!

I doubled the ribbon in half.  With a piece of new Night of Navy Linen Thread (in the new Natural Tones Linen Thread pack that’s part of the Nests of Winter Suite, available on 4 Sept) – I tied a bow around the ribbon.

Then, using a little Liquid Glue and a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the ribbon to the card front.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Winterly Tree Tops sentiment in Night of Navy ink.  Then I cut it out with the third-from-smallest Stylish Shapes circle die.

I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Copper Clay gems from the new Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (also part of the Suite coming on 4 Sept) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the bough image from Winterly Tree Tops in Gray Granite ink in the corner of a Basic White panel.  I used a Light Copper Clay and the Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blend to color the image.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Winterly Tree Tops bough on the front…

…and more of the birch-bark Nests Of Winter DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Well – this is my second card with this stunning suite – and…I love it more and more!  The Winterly Tree Tops stamp set and bundled dies are perfect – and I hope you can see that they’re really versatile!  And the Nests of Winter DSP….wow wow WOW!  So beautiful – and with the added advantage of having sweet bird images that can be cut right out of the DSP using the Winterly Tree Tops dies!  And since NO card is complete without a little extra sumpin-sumpin – it’s awesome that we have new Natural Tones Linen Thread AND Earth Tones Shimmer Gems!  BOOM!

Finn Fan Fix

Sometimes?  It’s just too….much….work.

Even for a pah-corn.

And it’s a terrible choice to have to make – you can see him debating the options (he IS his father’s son…he just can’t scratch his chin contemplatively like Dad does).

Keep resting in front of the AC vent or…stir yourself enough to slooooowwwwly take a pah-corn.

It took him a minute but he DID finally realize that he could…actually do BOTH at the same time. Without even standing up.

Cuz…he’s a smart cookie!

Do I REALLY have to wait until August. Yes, I know, I should have signed up for the event but I had no idea you’d be making a beauty like this!! Oh, that Finn, he’s quite the character. Have a great weekend.
