Good morning and Happy Monday! Yeah yeah – I KNOW. MONDAY…HAPPY?! Maybe not so much!? For us – this is the start of the last few days of prepping – got some errands to run today – and my head is spinning! I need to stop ADDING things to my list of “things to do before you go”!!
My card for today is a PERFECT one for when you’re busy – BUT you need a stunning Thank You card RIGHT NOW! It’s also another sneak peek at the Thoughtful Journey suite coming on 1 May in the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. It’s got a big and pretty Perennial Postage die cut from one of the prettiest pieces of Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP – and a simple sentiment from Thoughtful Wishes. And it’s ALL set atop a panel from the new Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP. Take a look-see:

The layout for this quick card is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

This one’ll go fast so…buckle up, Buttercup!
I started by adhering a mostly-Petunia Pop panel from the Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP onto a Boho Blue mat using Liquid Glue.
I say “mostly” cuz – each sheet of this gorgeous pearl-y paper has an ombre look – moving from one color to another – across each panel!
I adhered the matted panel to the front of my Mossy Meadow card base using more Liquid Glue.
Using the largest of the Perennial Postage Dies, I cut out one of the MANY stunning pieces of the new Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP. The Perennial Postage Dies are available NOW in the Jan – Apr 2024 Mini Catalog AND is carrying over to the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, too! Whoo-hoo!
I stamped a Thoughtful Wishes sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink on the die cut.
Then I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then I added three Petunia Pop pearls from the new Adhesive-backed Pearl Trio and the card front was done.
Told ya! FAST, baby!!
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Thoughtful Wishes in Mossy Meadow on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped the flower image from the set in Mossy Meadow – then colored it with my Light Old Olive and Light Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Boho Blue mat and into the Mossy Meadow card base and the card front was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got that pretty Thoughtful Wishes image on the front…
…and more of the Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Y’all know that making cards with about…3 steps…just isnt’ my jam but…wow. How fun is it when those fast steps yield something as gorgeous as this card?! It’s ALL thanks to the complete stunning-ness of the new Thoughtful Journey DSP, right?! And being able to add a sweet sentiment – and a floral image – from a set like the Thoughtful Wishes set?? Thank you, Stampin’ Up!, for giving us such beauteous tools!
