Finn Fan Fix 
On Wednesday – my Weather app and the local news app started sending the “SEVERE WEATHER COMING!!” messages.
Which – not gonna lie – freaks me out. I’m not proud of it – but…the severe storms just….scare the stuffing out of me! Can’t help it.
I need a Thunder Shirt. 🤦♀️
So – it was supposed to come on Friday – thankfully during the day (still scary but…more dealable-with).
We prepared for high winds and lightning. Not much you can do for tornadoes but you CAN protect ponies from flying debris and trucks from hail.
So – the people and the dog prepped.
People prep:
Truck in the shed.
Pony – pissy but safe – in the stall (at 11am when the first big rain came).
Barn doors all closed.
Ready as we’re gonna be.
Meanwhile….Dog Prep:
Hmmm. Dog Prep looks a lot more comfy than the people prep. Guess he figured he’d be “needed” in his emotional support capacity if we had to go to the basement and needed to be rested up.
As an update – I finally let the pony back out for a couple hours around 3:30pm. After…a short downpour and one lightning flash. 🤦♀️
Don’t get me wrong – I’m VERY happy it was a non-event. But…dang! Talk about the boy who cried wolf!! I’m just sayin.
