Stampin’ Up! March 2023 Ten Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin and a Peek at the April Kit!

Good morning, y’all!  So – if you follow me on FB – then you probably know that yesterday was not a good day for us.  It was a long, long not good day.  So – to say I was not feeling a lot of creative mojo last night is an understatement!

But – I DID want (and NEED!) to do something enjoyable – and relaxing – and creative.  We all know that it’s good for our psyche to create.  So…I turned to my March 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit which had come the previous day.  It’s the beautiful Ten Years of Growth kit – and it was just the thing I needed!

When I opened the box, I found everything I needed to put together nine pretty cards…

…including the exclusive stamp set and a Polished Pink Ink Spot! You guys know that Polished Pink is just about my favorite color – and it’s perfect with the other colors in this kit: Shaded Spruce, Garden Green, Coastal Cabana, Orchid Oasis, Fresh Freesia, and Crumb Cake!

But – there was ALSO a free BONUS!  A fun second stamp set – with an instruction sheet to make another pretty card over and above the kit cards!

That looks like my kind of card and I plan to give it a go soon!

But – for last night – I simply put the kit cards together and enjoyed a few minutes of chill!

Each card sports pretty planted foliage – this one includes a large gold sentiment.  I did decorate the front of the envelope with the sprig image from the stamp set – stamping it in Shaded Spruce (from my stash).

The second design started with a fun printed bookcase!

And the final design has a beautiful window in gold foil to build upon!  This pic shows the decorated flaps on the envelopes.  Pretty, huh?

This kit was super quick and easy to put together – I think it took me about 30 minutes in all.  And the cards are gorgeous!

If you’d like to see how to put this kit together – here’s a quick video!

And – if you’d like to buy one of these kits – I have a couple extra full kits – they’re in my Shop – check it out right here!!  Pssst – while you’re there, be sure to look at all the Retired products that I’ve uploaded.  A LOT has gone out the door, but…there’s a lot left for you to choose from! 🙂

Okay – now that you’ve seen how pretty March was…let’s take a look-see at the April  kit!

Good things take time, but you can start creating them now with the All the Little Things Paper Pumpkin kit! This kit includes nine cards, three each of three designs, with elegant designs and bright colors. The iridescent foil is the shining detail to bring your crafts together. You can make a card for anyone and for any occasion!

And don’t wait, because anyone who subscribes to this month’s kit will get a FREE box organizer! This organizer fits perfectly inside your Paper Pumpkin box and is great for keeping your supplies from past kits organized, so you know right where everything is!

Here’s the deets:

This kit includes:

– 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs, and 9 coordinating envelopes.
– 1 photopolymer stamp set with celebratory sentiments.
– 1 Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Spot.
– Precut cherry blossom paper pieces with iridescent foil.

  1. That is such a pretty card kit! Love the colors and the designs are perfect! So sorry to hear about Cerah. I know that you and Wayne and Cady and Finn will all miss her a lot. She was a sweet girl! Sending hugs to you all.

  2. Once again, my condolences to you and your family. She was a beauty and probably romping with Bo, Buck, Katy and all the other Deatherages and Van de Veeres. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have met Tini and the other Finkles 🙂 My kit comes today so your post is timely…can’t wait to create with it. I’m looking forward to April’s kit too. My heart goes out to you today and the days ahead.

  9. Donna Black

I’m so sorry to hear of your pony’s death. Was it something sudden or had she been ill?

    • stampsnlingers

Hey Donna – she had a Squamous Cell Carcinoma on her jaw – diagnosed in November. We got longer with her than I expected – but…the tumor ruptured on Monday morning and…that was it. 🙁 Thank you, my friend.

  16. Lynda

  17. Cindy H

Mary I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. My SIL had a pair of halflingers named Goldie and Twinkles. They lost Goldie last week and it broke my heart for Twinkles. They had been together all their lives. Praying for you through this.

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – they really bond with each other. It’s sad watching her mourn. Thank you, Cindy!

  18. Maryanne Willequer

    Nooo, so sorry 😢

  21. Bonnie Kasjaka

I’m so sorry for your loss of Cerah. I always enjoy seeing Finn and your horses. Losing a animal is like loosing a child. I hope to some day be in the new heaven and earth with my animals that have passed on. I praying that the Lord gives you peace.

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – yes it is. They are totally family. And – they BETTER be there or I’m going to be pretty darned disappointed! Thanks, Bonnie! 🙂

  22. Brenda Jaques

Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your hubby! It is so hard to lose our furry friends. Horses live so many years and are a part of our life those years, it’s like losing family or a part of ourselves. They bring such joy to our lives and ask for so little in return. God be with you all, including Finn!

    • stampsnlingers

Thank you so much, Brenda – they have given me great joy throughout my life!! Worth every trade off. 🙂

  23. Gerri K

    Mary,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your Cerah. My heart is breaking for you & Wayne. Pets are such a part of our family. As I was told recently, heartache is the price we pay for all those years of love. 🙁

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – and fortunately the heartache is less frequent than the joy. Or – I guess we wouldn’t do it, right?! It’s a good trade, I think – I can’t imagine these past 20 years without her. Thanks, Gerri! 🙂

  24. Kim

My heart goes out to you :'( 34???? That’s amazing! She was obviously well cared for. <3

    • stampsnlingers

No – she was 25 – I HOPED she’d make it to 34! She was well loved and had a pretty good life, for sure! Thank you so much, Kim! 🙂

      • Kim

Sorry. I thought I read somewhere that she was 34. 🙁

      • stampsnlingers

        No worries, Kim! 🙂

  25. Shari T

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss of sweet Cerah! Sending hugs!

    • stampsnlingers

Thank you so much, Shari – she was a very good girl and will be missed every day! 🙂
