Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Trio of Daisies Thank You Card

Good Monday to y’all!  Hope you had a good weekend – and are ready for a super work week!  With any luck – today’s a holiday for you and you don’t have to worry about working until TOMORROW!!

My card today is a harbinger of SPRING!  I’ve got daisies and flowers galore – thanks to the Dainty Flowers DSP and some of the sweetest flower dies I’ve ever seen – courtesy of the Dainty Delight stamp set and dies!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

I started by adhering a panel of the beautiful Dainty Flowers DSP – remember you can get this FREE during SAB with a purchase of $50+ before shipping & tax – to the front of a Thick Basic White card base using Liquid Glue.

Next is a second design from the DSP pack – cut with the fourth-from-largest Deckled Rectangle Die – and adhered with Liquid Glue.

Using the Dainty Delight die set, I cut a Mossy Meadow stem/leaves and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I cut some flowers with the tiny daisy die in the set – y’all, this is my favorite little daisy die EVER! – from Basic White and from Daffodil Delight.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the white daisies onto the Daffodil Delight daisies – then popped the stacked flowers onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a large Mango Melody Adhesive-backed Milky Dot to the middle of each flower.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Dainty Delight sentiment in Starry Sky – then cut it out with the next-to-smallest of the narrower dies in the Stitched Rectangle die set.

I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added three small Mango Melody Adhesive-backed Milky Dots to the sentiment and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the large floral image from Dainty Delight in Mossy Meadow on a Basic White panel.  Then I used the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends to color the image.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Starry Sky mat and into the Thick Basic White card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the big Dainty Delight floral on the front…

…and more of the Dainty Flowers DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Boy – this Dainty Delight stamp set and dies just never gets old!  I love it so much – and have barely scratched the surface of all the images and die cuts in the bundle! Even better – the Dainty Flowers DSP was MADE to coordinate with the bundle – and it sure does it perfectly!  Oh – and it’s FREE with a qualifying purchase during SAB!

  1. Such a pretty card! Love the delicate flower die cuts, perfectly designed! And do we even want to know what those two were up to in that photo??? 😉

It’s peek-a-boo and I may or may not have taught him that when he was little. He’s smart – he can even do a REVERSE peek-a-boo! 😉 Thanks so much, Julie! 🙂
