Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Regency Park Sneak Peek Thank You Card

Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all! Hope your week is going well!  I’m enjoying getting to the end of the baking – actually gave a small plate of cookies and fudge to the UPS driver this morning!  He brought some things for Wayne – and for my craft room!  Pictures will come soon! 🙂  I DID realize today that I’ve run out of eggs.  Which is…hard to fathom!  I guess that’s what happens if – every time you look at eggs at the store you say to yourself – oh no, I’ve got 18 in the outside fridge.  And then you just keep on baking!  😳😳😳  So – a trip to the store is imminent!!

But – before I do that – let’s talk card!  It’s another sneak peek from the Jan – Apr 2023 Mini Catalog – this one features the new Sentimental Park bundle and pretty Regency Park 6″ x 6′ DSP.  And – a new embossing folder (I LOVE embossing folders!) – called the Cane 3D Embossing Folder.  Take a look-see:

This easy and simple layout is from this week’s TGIF Challenge!

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White cardstock in the new Cane 3D Embossing Folder and adhering it to the front of my Thick Basic White card base with Liquid Glue.

Next, I pulled out one of the MANY gorgeous designs from the Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP….

I matted the panel on Night of Navy and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut another piece of Regency Park DSP – this time a Petal Pink design – and stamped a Sentimental Park sentiment in Night of Navy in the middle.

I matted the panel on Night of Navy and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card front.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the little floral outline image from Sentimental Park twice in Night of Navy and then stamped the fill image in Petal Pink.

Using the die in the bundled Sentimental Park die set, I cut out the two flowers.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the corners of the sentiment panel.

Then I spent some time hemming and hawing about adding a ribbon.  Some leaves.  Some ribbon AND leaves…. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Finally – I concluded that adding some white Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots (part of the Regency Park Suite and coming on 5 Jan!) to the sentiment panel – and small Petal Pink Milky Dots to the middles of the flowers – would be plenty! So – that’s what I did and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Sentimental Park in Night of Navy on a Basic White panel.  In the corners, I stamped the flowers in Night of Navy and Petal Pink.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Night of Navy mat and into the Thick Basic White card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got more Sentimental Park flowers on the front…

…and some more of the Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Pretty Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP and a simple sentiment and floral images from the Sentimental Park bundle – does all the work!  Well – with the help of the cool Cane 3D Embossing Folder!!  What do you think – is this suite on your list for 5 Jan!!?  I think it needs to be! 😉

Finn Fan Fix

Best time at Christmas?

When Mom is cooking!

Too bad DAD had to come in right when there was a bowl that needed licking!

I’m being SOOO cute!

DAD!  You know how you tell me there’s nothing left but the SILVER?!??! C’mon, MAN!

FINALLY!

Let me get every nook…

…cranny…

…crevice… (Crevices are HARD – gotta hold that booger DOWN!)…

Getting tired…

Still….licking…

And – for anyone who’s worried – No Aussies were harmed in the making of these photos!!.  This was NOT chocolate – and, by the time Wayne was done with it…there was not much more than a WHIFF of maple fudge left in that bowl!!   😉
