Stampin’ Up! Sweetheart Sweet Conversations Sneak Peek and….a Fundraiser Winner!

T-5, y’all!  And – I have some wisdom to impart.  It’s about…lists.  So – you make a list.  You do the first thing and check it off.  Then you do the next thing and check it off.  Keep doing that and the list gets smaller until finally – you’re DONE!

Unless.  Unless when you check something off the TOP…you add another something at the BOTTOM!

Another gift card needed.  Another batch of cookies – “just in case”.  Quick unplanned trip to the grocery.  You get the picture.  It becomes a never ending list!

On a brighter note – it’s gonna be Saturday pretty quick and then…the list will no longer matter!  LOL

For today’s card, I decided to look ahead to the NEXT holiday/occasion coming down the road – Valentine’s Day!  And I used a new bundle, called Sweet Conversations, from the Jan – Jun – 2022 Mini Catalog to make it for you.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

And the colors are from the Color Throwdown challenge!

I started by putting the “X” and the “O” from the new Sweet Conversations stamp set on an acrylic block.  Then I inked up with Mint Macaron, stamped-off-once on scrap paper and stamped a Mint Macaron panel.  I repeated that all over the panel  And then I embossed it in the new Gingham Embossing Folder (ALSO coming on 4 Jan in the Jan – Jun 2022 Mini Catalog).

I used the heart-chain die (I don’t know if that’s its name – but…that’s what it looks like!) in the Sweet Hearts Die set (bundled with Sweet Conversations!) to cut a Petal Pink line of hearts, which I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I stamped a couple three small conversation heart images from Sweet Conversations in Real Red on a piece of Basic White.  Each of the images has a coordinating solid fill image.  I used that, in stamped-off-once Real Red over the top of each image and then cut them out with their matching die in the coordinating Sweet Hearts Dies set.

I inked the large solid heart in Petal Pink, stamped-it-off-once on scrap paper, and then stamped it on Basic White.  I made two of them and cut them with the die in the Sweet Hearts set.

One of the most fun dies in this Sweet Hearts Die set is the one that creates little tiny envelopes!  I cut two of them from some Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP in Petal Pink.  Then I folded the two sides in, added a dab of Liquid Glue, and folded up the bottom flap.  So cute!! 🙂

I slid a large heart and a sentiment heart into each envelope, securing them inside with a little Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered each envelope to the card front with more Liquid Glue.

I stamped a Sweet Conversation sentiment on a strip of Basic White in Mint Macaron and adhered it to the card front – with a Stampin’ Dimensional on the right end – and Liquid Glue on the left.

I slid the third conversation heart under the sentiment, securing it with Liquid Glue.

I added some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (part of this Sweet Talk Suite and coming in January!) here and there and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Sweet Conversations sentiment in Mint Macaron on a Basic White panel.  Over the top, I stamped a large heart in stamped-off-once Petal Pink and the smaller heart in stamped-off-TWICE Real Red.  Then I added another Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mint Macaron mat and into my Mint Macaron card base.  On the front, I first used Liquid Glue to adhere a Mint Macaron mat directly to the front of the card base – then I popped my card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the large heart in stamped-off-once Petal Pink and the smaller heart in stamped-off-TWICE Real Red on the front…

…and more of the Petal Pink Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love that this Sweet Conversations set looks like those little conversation hearts that you can get around Valentine’s Day – and I really like the fact that it has sentiments to send to your friends (in other words – like for PAL-entine’s Day!).  The bundled Sweet Hearts Die set is a lot of fun – with tons of dies for adding hearts of every kind!

I hope you like!
