Stampin’ Up! Cute Halloween Sparkle for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Halloween Fun!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

I’ve been having a hankering to cut up some of the sweet little ghosties from the Cute Halloween 6″ x 6″ DSP pack so…that’s what I did today.  And I added it to an oh-so-spooky (seriously – brace yourself!)….Highland Heather wreath from the Sparkle of the Season Bundle.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this card is from this week’s TGIF challenge sketch.

And the color scheme is thanks to the Global Design Project color challenge.

I started by matting two pieces of the Cute Halloween DSP on Highland Heather and then adhering the smaller panel to the larger one to create the card front.

I cut out the larger wreath from the Seasonal Swirls die set – bundled with Sparkle of the Season – in Highland Heather and adhered it with Liquid Glue.  Then I cut the smaller wreath – with the stars – from Basic White and adhered it as well.

I stamped the Sparkle of the Season sentiment in Highland Heather on a narrow strip of Basic White.  Then I snipped a banner into the left side and popped it onto the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a little bow from the Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

Then I got busy with my Paper Snips to cut out a sweet little ghost – I know this little dude is sweeter even than CASPER!! – and used some stacked-up Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it over the bow.

I used the bat die in the Seasonal Swirls die set to cut three Black Glitter Paper bats and adhered them to the wreath and the sentiment with Liquid Glue.  I also added a few Highland Heather stars from the Cute Stars Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the stars of the wreath and the card front was done!

For the inside, I stamped the bats from Sparkle of the Season in Tuxedo Black in the corner of a Basic White panel.  And I added some stamped Highland Heather stars, too!

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Highland Heather mat and into my Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the bats and stars on the front…

…and more stripe-y Cute Halloween DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I’ll tell you what, y’all – the Sparkle of the Season bundle is SOOO versatile and fun!  Get sentiments and images that will have you covered for Halloween, Fall/Thanksgiving AND Christmas – all in one bundle! THAT is what I call Bang-For-Your-Buck!  And the Cute Halloween 6″ x 6″ DSP is just too…well….cute!

I hope you like!
