Good morning and…let me be the first to wish you a very Happy HAWWWMP DAY!!! Yes! It’s Wednesday – and….THAT means that I only have two sleeps before I head to the airport to pick up Amy and Karen and then head up to the north GA mountains for our Inkin’ Krew Retreat! I am so excited to see everyone – and I’ve got a couple of ladies who are in my Crittters-N-Creatin’ Krew Team that I’ve never met in person! Plenty of time on Zoom – but…this’ll be the first time we’re in the same spot! It’s going to be a blast! I’ll share pics as I’m able thru the weekend!
Stampin’ Up! recently released a brand new All-Inclusive Kit called Christmas Whimsy. I ordered it first jump out the gate and when it came….I dove in! Remember – this is the one I think looks like it come straight outta Who-Ville!!

When I opened it up I found everything – and I do mean….EVERYTHING!…I needed to make eight fun Christmas cards!

THAT is the neat and tidy image from Stampin’ Up! Here’s my hot mess!

Great job, Mare! 🤦♀️
But – I popped all the die cut pieces, folded the two designs of card bases and opened up the instructions. I decided that at least for this first one, I’d do them exactly as the instructions said.
The instruction sheet is cool – they used pictures to let you know what to do and in what order – and (unlike some picture directions – you know the ones I mean!) – THESE actually WORK!

I mean – they even tell you how many stars or snowflakes to use and where to put the Dimensionals! 👍👍👍
I used the enclosed Night of Navy Ink Spot and the exclusive stamp set to stamp snowflakes and stars on the card bases – and stamp the sentiments. This is where I DID depart a little – I’m not a huge “Season’s Greetings” fan so I did them all with Merry Christmas. But…you can do whichever you prefer – they both fit on the labels perfectly (thanks, Stampin’ Up!).

There’s a roll of Gold Trim to use on each design – love the tag “tied” on (in truth it’s got a little Glue Dot and the tag itself is popped on with a couple of dimensionals!). And there are pretty blue foil snowflakes and stars adhesive-backed sequins to add, too!

The second design also gets a little gold foil star “sticker” added – only hard part here is making sure to get the ladder onto the card front straight so that it doesn’t look like someone is fixin’ to end up in the ER!

There’s even an “inside” sentiment that I used – and added some Night of Navy stamped stars.

I guess Stampin’ Up! has heard me say #nonekkidenvelopes cuz they included some beautiful envelopes with Gold Foil accents.
But…I added some stars to the front, too. Cuz….I could! 😉

Et Voila! In the blink of an eye I had eight fun full-sized cards – with insides stamped and ready – and decorated envelopes – all ready to get signed, stamped and mailed! No cutting (except for the Gold Trim!) required – and the easy instructions make this a PERFECT project for new stampers or kids or….pretty much anyone who needs really cute Christmas cards! It would be a GREAT activity to do together with family and friends – order a few kits and get to creating! 🙂

I hope you like!
