Stampin’ Up! Ridiculously Awesome Art Gallery for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  We’ve got a color challenge to work with today and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

The color palette of our challenge led me to the Fine Art Floral DSP with its suite-mates, the Art Gallery stamp set and bundled Floral Gallery dies.  I added a couple of big, bold sentiments from the (retiring!) Ridiculously Awesome stamp set.  Take a look-see:

And here’s the color challenge – we had to pick three (I got Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Mossy Meadow.  And…isn’t that a sweet color combo!?)

And I think it fits nicely with The Paper Players challenge this week!

I started with some pretty Fine Art Floral DSP that I matted on Flirty Flamingo for the card front.

Next, I stamped the Ridiculously Awesome sentiment, using my Stamparatus, in Mossy Meadow on a piece of Basic White.  I cut it with the largest Stitched Shapes circle die.  I am thinking I’ve mentioned that this – one of my fave, go-to sets! – is leaving us SOON!?  You need to be sure that you’ve got this one, y’all, before it’s gone!

I tied a double length of gold Simply Elegant Twine (coming to YOU soon – like 4 May – in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog) into a bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the detailed flower from Art Gallery in Flirty Flamingo – then I stamped the fill image in Petal Pink over top.  I also stamped the leaves image twice in Mossy Meadow.  Using the associated dies in the bundled Floral Gallery Dies, I cut the images out.

I trimmed the stem from the leaves and adhered them to the back of the flower die cut – then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the flower over the bow.

Some Champagne Rhinestones in the middle of the flower and on the sentiment circle finished off the card front.

For the  inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Ridiculously Awesome in Mossy Meadow on a Basic White panel.  Then I added the Art Gallery flower and some Champagne Rhinestones.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Flirty Flamingo mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Art Gallery flower on the front…

…and a little more of the Fine Art Floral DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Ridiculously Awesome – retiring soon! – is…well….ridiculously awesome!  It’s got such great, big, bold sentiments that, when added to some pretty paper like Fine Art Floral DSP and flowers from the Art Gallery Bundle…are perfect for your projects!

I hope you like!
