Stampin’ Up! Sending You Thoughts and Flowers

Hey y’all!  It’s Friday and the very last day of January!  Which means…there’s only FOUR MORE DAYS until you can get your hands on the Coordination Product Release goodies!  If you’ve been off-planet for a minute and don’t know what I’m talking about…..scroll down!  All the deets are down below!

I used one of the new die sets – called the Sending Flowers Dies – and the coordinating Sending You Thoughts stamp set (a Level 1 Sale-A-Bration reward) to make today’s card.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I pulled out a pretty Pool Party paper from the Tropical Oasis DSP (LOVE the versatility of this paper pack!!) and matted it on So Saffron for the card front.

From a square of Whisper White, I cut the big circle die in the Sending Flowers Die set.

Using my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack, I colored the stems and leaves of the die cut.  Then I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals – and smaller pieces, too – to pop the die cut onto the card front.

The die set has two small flower dies – each die cuts four flower shapes.  I used both dies to cut flowers from So Saffron, Mango Melody and Grapefruit Grove card stock.

Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the flowers to their matching shapes on the die cut and added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the middles.

For the sentiment, I stamped the Sending You Thoughts sentiment in Granny Apple Green on Whisper White and cut it with the label die in the Sending Flowers set.  I also cut a second label in So Saffron.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the two labels together with a little offset.  Then I wrapped some So Saffron Baker’s Twine (from the Metallic Baker’s Twine & Sequins Pack (another of the $50 Level 1 Sale-A-Bration choices) around the end of the label, tying it in a bow at the end.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the card front.  Then I added another couple of die cut flowers and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel at the end.

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Sending You Thoughts in Granny Apple Green to a Whisper White panel.  I adhered another couple of Sending Flowers die cuts next to it.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a So Saffron mat and then into my Granny Apple Green card base and the card was done.

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more flower die cuts and Rhinestones on the front (I know this card will be inside a package – heck, the sentiment practically DECLARES that it will!) so I wasn’t concerned with mailing it on its own…

…and I added a little more of the Tropical Oasis DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  So…I’ve already told you how much I love this Sending You Thoughts stamp set.  The sentiments are awesome and the fact that it’s free during Sale-A-Bration is icing on the cake!!  And now – add in the gorgeous floral die cuts in the Sending Flowers Die set (which you’ll be able to pick up starting on 4 Feb!).  Wow!  I hope you like – and have added this die set to your Must Have list!

If you’d like to recreate this card – all the Stampin’ Up! products you need are listed down below as well as the card cuts!

Finn Fan Fix

You guys remember Glamour Shots?  Like…from the 80’s?

You know – where you go in to the photo studio in sweats and a raggedy t-shirt and 3 hours later you come out with photos that look like you spent three hours getting all dolled up?

Are those even still a thing?

IF they are – then Finn STILL would not go.

No need.

He rolls out of bed in the morning with his Farrah Fawcett hair looking like he spent an hour or three in the makeup chair.

I give you…Glamourous Finn!

See what I mean?

One handsome and glamourous dude!!
