Finn Fan Fix

This is a non-Finny Finn Fan Fix!

This is a seedling update!

So…I planted two BioDomes last week – veggies and flowers.

I placed the two BioDomes under the grow light.

16 hours on.  8 hours off.

And then – carefully peeeeered into the domes every day.

Every day….nothing.

Not surprising – a watched seed never grows.

Or…something like that! LOL

But then.  THEN!  Yesterday…..lookee lookee!!

See ’em?!? Plants!  Little plants sticking their little plant-heads up!

According to my careful planting chart – those are marigolds.  Which I’m growing to plant in and among my Ancho Magnifico Peppers and my tomatoes.

Happy dance happy dance!

See?  Even Finny is thrilled beyond measure!

  1. Great kits! Looking forward to next month too. 🙂 Yay for seedlings…even if Finn wasn’t so excited to see them. 🙂

    • stampsnlingers

Me, too! Thanks, Amy. And that IS his excited face!! 😉

  2. Patty Jo Higgins

I absolutely love everything about the poppy suite!!

  3. Debbie Lindauer

My favorite in the latest mini catalogue is the So Sentimental Bundle. Pove the sayings and fonts on the stamp set as well as the dies. Debbie Lindauer

    • stampsnlingers

Yep – it’s a crowd fave, for sure! Thanks, Debbie! 🙂

  4. Barbara Roberts

So hard to pick just one! But if I have to I would definitely say the So Sentimental bundle…especially the adorb scallops framelits! I use them every day on something…makes a great inside the card panel!!

    • stampsnlingers

Yep – that one is WAAAY high on my list, too! Hope hope hoping it carries over. Thanks, Barbara! 🙂

  5. Sandi Warthen

I had to laugh at Finn’s enthusiasm. UM, how do you pick a favorite? Well, I started with From My Heart-I love hearts, then moved to Birthday Bonanza-Love the bright, happy colors-it’s going to be a fun set to play with. I think the Peaceful Poppies set is amazing. (PS: I’m partial to the January PP)

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – he’s a gardner at heart! 😉 You’ve got a ton of faves, Sandi. Me, too! 🙂

  6. Mary

My favorite from the mini-catalog….that is difficult….so many lovelies in there. I would have to say that my favorite is the FOREVER BLOSSOMS. For someone like me who does NOT have a die cutting machine (nor do I wish to purchase one) the large stamp of the cherry blossom branch is just GORGEOUS! No need to cut it out….it looks incredible stamped on a light pink piece of paper with a sentiment popped up (or directly on the card) for a super quick and lovely card. Or, if you have the time, stamp on white and color it in….also beautiful.

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – that’s a gorgeous stamp, for sure! Thanks, Mary!

  7. Robbie Miller

    Hi Mary,
Well, it is hard to pick my favorite product, geez that’s a lot to ask … so many choices !!

After a lot of thought (at least 30 seconds), the Honey Bee Bundle and matching paper in the
Sale-A- Bration is sooo cute. Love the possibilities.

If you had said I could pick something from the annual catalog, it would have been
    dimensionals, Right !!!

    Hugs,
    Robbie

    • stampsnlingers

Dimensionals – that’s like…oxygen. EVERYONE loves OXYGEN! Thanks, Robbie! 🙂

  8. Carole

Hi Mary, I think my fav is Grace’s Garden; it has me in Spring mode and I love English gardens which it reminds me of. So happy your plants are growin’!

  9. Jeanne

I would have to say that the bundles in the new catalog along with the suites are amazing but my favorite thing in the mini catalog is the Peaceful Poppies Suite ! I am smitten with it ! I love it all and I am so glad they didn’t put anything “wooden” with the suite !

  10. Pat McG.

I like Easter Promise the best. We donate loads of cards and Easter is one of them….and this is a nice simple set to work with…but I think it will make great cards!

  16. Sandra Schroeder

I love the Peaceful Poppies Suite. Poppies have always been a big flower favorite for me. Birthday Bananza is a great set too. Love your dogs enthusiasm. We must have missed the jumping around and tail chasing before you snapped that pic.

    • stampsnlingers

Yea – by the time I pulled out the camera, he had exhausted himself!! LOL! Love BOTH those sets of goodies, Sandra! 🙂

  17. Maryanne Willequer

My goodness! There is so much to like about the new catalog. But I have to admit I love what I see people making with the dressed to impress (the whole she-bang bundle!). Saving my pennies so I can swing buying it! And good luck with your grow boxes!

This mini catalog is full of beautiful/fun stamps and dies so how do you choose one favorite? I have always loved poppies so I was excited to see these all over the front of the catalog. This one is my favorite with the tropical suite coming in at a close second. Love all your pics of Finn! He is precious.

    • stampsnlingers

LOVE those sets – especially the Tropical Oasis DSP – the colors are gorgeous! Thanks, Sarah! 🙂

  27. Karen L

As so many have said-it is hard to pick just one favorite from the mini catalog. But, if I must, I will choose Birthday Bonanza. I make quite a few birthday cards during the year for my grands & greats so you have many options for cards. Plus, I think some older folks would enjoy the bright colored critters & papers as well. Good luck on that garden…..we have a few months before we can even think of our garden…….MN! Thanks for a fun blog & Finn’s antics….great inspiration.

    • stampsnlingers

I love that set – the little animals are adorable. And so versatile! Yep – you’ve got a minute in MN before it’s gardening time! Thanks, Karen! 🙂

  28. Marilyn W

Have a lot of favorites from the mini catalog. My eye initially caught the Positive Thoughts stamp set but had held off ordering it. Now that there will be coordinating dies, it is a MUST!!

  29. Pam Berrisford

Good afternoon Mary, I just want to say that I enjoy all your post and love to see what Finn is up to.
