Stampin’ Up! Sip Sip Hooray!!

Hey y’all – welcome back to the week.  Hope it’s looking promising for you!

My card today is super simple and quick and easy!  That’s like a trifecta of goodness, right!?  It uses the new Sip Sip Hooray bundle (which is good since that’s what I named this post, right!?).  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I started with two panels of Whisper White – a card front size and a smaller one.  I laid the smaller panel atop the card front and used the splatter image to stamp around the corner in Golden Glitz and Silver Shimmer Delicata Inks.

When all was good and dry, I adhered both panels to Champagne Foil mats with Liquid Glue.

On a seperate piece of Whisper White, I stamped the Sip Sip Hooray wine glass images in Smoky Slate.  I used the “wine” image to add some “wine” in Grapefruit Grove.  Then I used the die in the bundled Sip & Celebrate Dies to cut them out.

I did a dry fit to determine where the glasses would go – and then stamped the sentiment in Grapefruit Grove onto the smaller panel and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.  Then I added the glasses with Liquid Glue.

On another strip of Whisper White – I stamped another Sip Sip Hooray sentiment in Silver Shimmer Delicata Metallic Ink.  I cut banner ends with my Paper Snips and edged the banner with my Grapefruit Grove Stampin’ Write Marker.

I popped the banner on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added another Sip Sip Hooray sentiment in Grapefruit Grove on a Whisper White panel.  I surrounded the sentiment with silver and gold splatters.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Champagne Foil mat and into my Grapefruit Grove card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

The front of my Whisper White Medium Envelope got more wine glasses and metallic splatters on the front…

…and I stamped the sentiment multiple times in Grapefruit Grove on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This Sip Sip Hooray bundle is a lot of fun as we head into New Year’s – or for any congratulatory event!!  And – even though I didn’t use them – who puts fruit or herbs in wine?? – there are also images to do just that!  And since it’s a photopolymer set – it’s easy peasy to line everything up and create your no-calorie libations!!  I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

We had to pull the dry-the-dog-towel back out this week.  It rained all day Saturday – and the velcro/feathers/pantaloonies were all wet.

Several times!

He waits patiently while I dry all his parts. “Dry” being more like “ish”.

And then…

It’s the bestest part of rain!

  1. Pretty card! Love the “champagne foil” with your drink glasses! It’s been raining here too…Ginny does not find it nearly as fun to be dried off. 🙂

    Hi Mary!
Love that Finn ! Every post of his antics makes me smile! Also your recent posts on the curvy keepsake boxes were fab-u-lous! I recently joined the SU family under Linda Bauwin. But, I continue to draw inspiration from you.
    Thanks for all you do!
P.s….I still think a Finn-spired book would be great!
