Good Saturday morning, y’all, from the Ellijay mountains in North Georgia!

The card I have for you today is an elegant Christmas project using the new Flourish Filigree stamp set and some Joyous Noel Specialty DSP. Take a look-see:
I played along with the Global-Design-Project challenge this week which is a CASE the Designer challenge – with guest designer Kerstin Kreis.
I started with a piece of the Joyous Noel Specialty DSP that I matted on Crumb Cake, using Liquid Glue, for the card front.
On a piece of Merry Merlot, I stamped the large-and-lovely filigree image from Flourish Filigree in Versamark – then I sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Then I heated it up with my Heat Tool.
When it had cooled, I cut the panel down to size and matted it on Crumb Cake. Then I adhered the panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I used some Glue Dots to add a couple of new Snowflakes & Stars Wire Elements down in the corner.
I stamped the sentiment from Flourish Filigree in Merry Merlot on a piece of Crumb Cake, then punched it with the Pretty Label Punch. I added a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the punched sentiment and used them to wind several loops of Copper Metallic Thread. Then I popped the sentiment over the Wire Snowflakes.
On the inside, I matted more of the Joyous Noel Specialty DSP on Crumb Cake. On a Whisper White panel, I stamped the filigree image in stamped-off-once Crumb Cake in the corner. Over that I added a second sentiment from Flourish Filigree in Merry Merlot.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Crumb Cake mat and then onto the matted DSP and into my Merry Merlot card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a full-strength Crumb Cake filigree image in the corner…
…and then I added a little more Joyous Noel DSP to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Elegant in Copper and Merry Merlot – the Flourish Filigree stamp set shines atop Joyous Noel Specialty DSP! Wonderful for Christmas, don’t you think? I hope you like!

Today (Friday), Finny is keeping his Dad company in Atlanta while I’m up in Ellijay enjoying a wonderful weekend retreat with good friends, good food, and a great place!
