I’m going to keep this pretty short – Sunday’s sale was successful, fun and…long! So…since I’m writing this on Sunday night – I need to get off to bed so I can get up and have Monday!

What we did last night was make some little note cards – we’ve got new 3″ Square Envelopes in the 2017 Holiday Catalog and Mini Pizza Boxes! The boys are the perfect size for holding three little note cards and envelopes. I made the cards with Year of Cheer Specialty DSP and some embellishments. Take a look-see:
They’re all made by simply scoring and folding a 3″ x 6″ piece of new Year of Cheer Specialty DSP at 3″.
We added some Year of Cheer Washi Tape, a gold Foil Snowflake, a Vellum card stock circle cut with the Starburst Punch, and a snowflake.
The snowflake was cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, using the edgelit in the new Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits (which will be available bundled with the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set in the 2017 Holiday Catalog!) and snipped out.
The sentiment, from Snowflake Sentiments, is heat embossed in Silver and cut with the new Everyday Punch (also coming in the Holiday Catalog!). I also punched a mat from new Champagne Foil (and we all agreed that we need Champagne Embossing Powder!!).
I wrapped a few loops of Copper Metallic Thread behind the sentiment and popped it on the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A Rhinestone Basic Jewel finished them off with some bling!
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Snowflake Sentiments in Smokay Slate – having decided the image was too detailed to emboss.
I used the new Mini Pizza Box for the gift box.
On the top, I matted a square of Year of Cheer Specialty DSP on Champagne Foil and added it with Liquid Glue. Then I layered a Gold Foil Snowflake, two “swirls” of Champagne foil cut with a fun die in the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits, another Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper snorflake, and the same sentiment – this time embossed in Copper!
Et Voila! What a fun little set of notecards and envelopes! Hope you like!

Finn-Fan Fix
So…I have no new photo today. Cuz I was gone more than I was here.
And – this story…well.
It happened in the bathroom.
As I was getting ready to shower to go to our All Stamping Sale.
As is his norm, Finn followed me in there. Except when I’m away, I haven’t been to the bathroom or taken a shower by myself since he arrived! 🙂
As I waited for the water to get hot, he stood by me. Watching me. Watching the water.
I told him I had to go do some things and he needed to stay here with his dad and do man things.
He gave me the Finn lips….like this only with his head cocked sideways.
No, you guys – this is not how he really looked – I told you I don’t have a new picture (since I’m not in the habit of taking my phone/camera in the shower with me. Are you?!?).

He’s very expressive with his lips, though, don’t you think? But the glow-y eyes – that’s a little disconcerting…

So sorry I missed the party last night – what a wonderful project!! I’m a sucker for 3×3’s! I just read over at ShawnStamps – he mixed gold and silver embossing powder(1:1 I think) to make champagne EP. I haven’t tried it yet, but it should work! Love the lips! He is so stinkin cute!!
