Good morning and happy Fri-YAAAAYYY!! Hope you’ve had an awesome week! We’ve been enjoying some Spring-y days – so far MINUS the downside of Spring weather (aka tornadoes!) and hoping it stays that way for the weekend! Wishing good weather for your weekend, too!
Today’s card is timely given that it’s March and St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner! I used the new Good Luck stamp set (from the Jan 2026 Online Exclusives) and some Turtle-y Cute DSP (from the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog)! I pulled them together to make a hidden flap fun fold card to send to a friend. Take a look-see:
You’ll see this card – along with the other Design Team members’ cards – at this month’s Creative Creases Challenge! 😎 We’re ALWAYS wanting to see pretty fun folds so…I hope hope hope you’ll make one (or three!) and come share them with us! 🙂
And I also played along with The Paper Players theme challenge this week! Okay – I know that TECHNICALLY – a pot isn’t a “creature” but…work with me on this. The pot needs a LEPRECHAUN to fill it with gold. Boom! 😉
I started by cutting two 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ pieces of Granny Apple Green cardstock. One for the card base – and the second for the fun fold mechanism.
On the card base, I used Liquid Glue to adhere two 1 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ pieces of the Crushed Curry paper from the Turtle-y Cute DSP. I placed them on the two ends – leaving a normal reveal on the sides, top and bottom.
I scored the second Granny Apple Green piece – the fold mechanism – at 1 3/8″ and 2 3/4″ on the long side. I folded it into a “z” – with the 1 3/8″ as a mountain and the 2 3/4″ score as a valley.
On a 2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Good Luck sentiment in Garden Green ink.
In the bottom corner, I stamped the large four-leaf clover image in Versamark Ink – sprinkled it with Gold Metallics WOW Embossing Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere it on the inside of the fold-mechanism.
On the inside of the middle panel – I adhered a 1 1/4″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Garden Green Turtle-y Cute DSP using Liquid Glue.
For the front panel, I adhered a 2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of striped Turtle-y Cute DSP on a 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock using Liquid Glue.
Using the large banner die in the Stylish Shapes set, I cut a banner from a Gold Foil Sheet and adhered it to the panel with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the gold coin image from the Good Luck set in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with the Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool.
Above the embossed gold, I stamped the little three “glimmer” image four times in Versamark, sprinkled them with the Gold Embossing Powder and heat set them with the Heat Tool.
When all the embossing powder was cool, I used the next-to-largest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut out the image – keeping the embossed image up at the top of the circle.
On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the pot image from the Good Luck set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I used scissors to cut out the image.
I adhered the pot to the white circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals – placing it so that the gold appears to be “in” the pot. Then I adhered the circle over the Gold Foil banner with Liquid Glue.
I heat embossed a Good Luck sentiment in Gold on a 1″ wide strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock – then cut the strip down to size. Tip: you can see in the video how to do that!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment onto the pot – then slid a Dimensional under the right corner to give it a little support.
I added some Flower Accents to the pile of “gold” just cuz it was fun!
Using Liquid Glue on the left-most panel of the fold mechanism, I adhered the front panel – aligning the edges, tops and bottoms.
Finally, I adhered a 1 1/4″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Garden Green Turtle-y Cute DSP using Liquid Glue to the remaining inside panel. Note: that’s actually the BACK of the front panel that I just adhered. 🙂
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the folding mechanism in the center of the card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the large four-leaf clover in Garden Green ink on the front…
…and more of the Crushed Curry Turtle-y Cute DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I can hear the little Leprechaun singing his pot-of-gold-at-the-end-of-the-rainbow song, can’t you!? He’s JUST out of the picture! This Good Luck set is uber cute – and great for St. Patrick’s Day or…just to wish someone luck on a new venture or thank them for being your friend! Don’t miss the “backs” of our DSP – like this Turtle-Y Cute paper – the fronts wouldn’t work at all for this card – but..the OTHER side is perfect!! 🙂
I hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! has some exciting changes coming in the new catalog!
Price Increases Coming
Stampin’ Up! is committed to providing high-quality paper crafting products and a great overall experience—without compromising the quality that Stampin’ Up! is known for. At the same time, they carefully consider costs and other important factors. To do this, they regularly review our pricing based on the cost of doing business, global exchange rates, rising supplier costs, and market comparisons.
Due to higher production costs, please expect price increases in the following product categories:
– Select Stampin’ Cut & Emboss product
– Heat Tool
– Cutting & Scoring Blades Multipacks
– Select Coloring Tools
– Storage
– Select Adhesives
– Select Paper products including Envelopes, Basic White Notecards & Envelopes, and Masking Paper
– Designer Series Paper
– Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads and Refills
– Stampin’ Blends
– Select Embellishments, Twines, and Linen Thread
– In addition, Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will also see an upcoming price increase.
We not been given details yet on the specific price increases for the catalog items, we’ll see what we see when we get our hands on the new catalog later this month. If you’ve been considering purchasing anything on the list, be sure to order before the current catalog ends to get the lower pricing. 😎
Changes to the Upcoming Catalog Timelines
Starting in May, Stampin’ Up! is refreshing the way they share products in print, with a new, streamlined catalog strategy designed to make shopping from their catalogs easier and more intuitive. Instead of an annual catalog and multiple minis, they are moving to three beautifully designed catalogs per year—each one complete, current, and easy to use on its own. No more overlapping catalogs!
Each catalog will introduce new products alongside a selection of customer-favorite staples (core products)—such as stamps, ink, paper, tools, and adhesives—bringing the feel of a mini catalog and an annual catalog together in one place. This balanced approach creates an easy-to-shop print experience, all within a catalog released every four months:
– January–April
– May–August
– September–December
These seasonal catalogs are designed to put products front and center, making it easy for you to browse, discover, and shop by product category.
I’ll be getting to see the new May-August 2026 Catalog SOON (like…next week when I attend OnStage out in California) and I can’t wait to see the new catalogs moving forward. I think this new streamlined approach is going to be a really good thing!
New Magnetic Ink Pads – and a peek at the new 2026-2028 In Colors!
Beginning in May 2026, Stampin’ Up! will introduce new felt ink pads in a magnetic, stackable case design.
– In 2026, only the new In Colors will be offered in the new magnetic felt pads.
– In 2027, all ink colors will transition to the new magnetic felt pad as part of a planned color revamp, and the current pad style will be phased out.
Importantly, existing ink pads will remain usable throughout this transition—there is no immediate need to replace what you already own. Please be aware, however, that once the transition takes place, the old ink pad design will only be available while supplies last.
The photo above is an early peek at the new 2026-2028 In Colors! And they look beautiful!! The NEW Magnetic Ink Pads in the NEW 2026-2028 In Colors will be available to order 5 May 2026!
Check out the new In Colors!
