Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
When I saw our sketch – I KNEW I was going to use the new – aka available on 3 March – Delicate Dreams suite – with the Delicate Whispers bundle and Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP! I even pulled in the Natural Matte Dots and new Gray Granite 1/4″ Variegated Trim from the Suite to make my pretty Thank You card. Take a look-see:
And…here’s our sketch!
I started by adhering a pretty piece of Gray Granite paper from the new Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP (available in the new Online Exclusives on 3 March!) to a Secret Sea mat to make the card front.
Using the plethora of amazing foliage dies from the Delicate Whispers die set (part of the bundle and available on 3 March) to cut out Mossy Meadow, Earthen Tones Metallic Specialty Paper and Crumb Cake leaves and fronds. Fronds. We have FRONDS! I also cut out four little Secret Sea berry boughs.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the fronds and leaves and berries to the card front.
I used the dies to cut out some small flowers and two larger flowers from the Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP. Don’t you love that?! I didn’t adhere them yet, though.
With the second-from-smallest die in the Beautifully Celebrated die set (in the Jan-Apr 2026 Mini Catalog and available right now), I cut out some gorgeous Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP (the Secret Sea and Bronze Foil pattern).
I laid a few strips of Stampin’ Seal+ and used it to adhere a loop-d-loop bow of the new Gray Granite 1/4″ Variegated Trim. Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the label to the card front.
I rubbed a piece of Gray Granite cardstock with my Embossing Buddy and then stamped the Delicate Whispers sentiment inVersamark Ink. I sprinkled it with Copper Metallics WOW Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.
When it was cool, I cut out the sentiment with the Stylish Shapes banner die and adhered it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered the die cut DSP flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals or Liquid Glue, added some new Natural Matte Dots (LOVE!) and the card front was done!
For the inside, I stamped a frond (MORE fronds!) from the Delicate Whispers set twice in Mossy Meadow ink (without re-inking between stamps) in the corner of a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Gray Granite card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the fronds image from Delicate Whispers set twice in Mossy Meadow ink (without re-inking between stamps) on the front…
…and more of the Secret Sea and Bronze Foil paper from the Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! Okay – you know this is my fave thing in the new March 2026 Online Exclusives – at least until I use the NEXT favorite thing! All the pretty foliage – and the sentiments – in the Delicate Whispers bundle! And – some of the dies even cut out pretty printed flowers from the coordinating Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP! BOOM! The whole SUITE is just wonderful!!
