Good morning and happy Monday! Hope y’all are dug out – or…at least safe and warm in your homes. If you’re snowed/iced in – that’s the universe telling you to make cards today! I’m feeling pretty confident – as I type this on Sunday night – that we dodged the winter storm bullet! I know it’s going to be cold as a well-digger’s bucket tomorrow but…I don’t think much else is going to transpire! Thank you, God! 🙂
In a couple three weeks (well, on 3 March!) you’ll be able to grab the Scalloped Wishes bundle and Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP from the March 2026 Online Exclusives. And – when you DO grab them – you’ll be able to make…today’s pretty thank you card! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!
I did a quick video on how to make this card – which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I started with a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of the new Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP – from which I cut the second-from-largest Textured Notes die. Then I matted the remaining frame on a piece of Cloud Cover cardstock for the card front.
I matted the die cut panel on a 2 7/8 x 4 3/8″ piece of Cloud Cover cardstock and adhered it over the “hole” in the middle with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock, I stamped the smaller frame image from Scalloped Wishes in Pecan Pie ink. I stamped the larger frame in Pecan Pie ink on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. I cut them both out with their coordinating dies in the set.
I adhered the smaller frame to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On the Crumb Cake die cut, I stamped the Scalloped Wishes sentiment in Pecan Pie ink.
I cut out a Pecan Pie Scalloped Wishes frame and adhered it to the Crumb Cake shape with Liquid Glue. Then I adhered the whole thing to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped the Scalloped Wishes cattails in Pecan Pie ink and cut it out with the die in the set. Slipping the bottom under the Pecan Pie frame, I adhered the cattails to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I used the dies in the set to cut out three Basic Beige Scalloped Wishes dragonfly bodies and three Cloud Cover dragonfly wings. I adhered the little bodies to the little wings with Liquid Glue.
I adhered the dragonflies to the card front with Liquid Glue – added three Cloud Cover Moody Palette Dots and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a Scalloped Wishes sentiment, the cattails and the dragonfly in Pecan Pie ink on a piece of Basic Beige cardstock. As an interesting side note – I used my brand spankin’ new Stampin’ Positioner to stamp all the images at the same time! And – this is a goody you can only get by joining the Stampin’ Up! team from 3 February thru 2 March (deets are down below)!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Pecan Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Scalloped Wishes cattails and dragonfly in Pecan Pie ink on the front…
…and more of the Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! Well – I’ll tell y’all what – the March Online Exclusives are amazing! The Scalloped Wishes bundle is just a taste of what’s to come and…it’s stinkin’ wunnermus! As is the Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP (it’s part of a larger suite that you’re also going to love!).
I hope you like!
