Happy Sunday, y’all! Hope you’re having a great weekend! 🙂
In just a couple more days – you’re going to get your chance to order from the new Jan-Apr 2026 Mini catalog – AND the new Jan 2026 Online Exclusives – AND there’ll be new kits AND a new Product of the Month.
Yes. Tuesday, 6 Jan, will be a VERY big day, indeed! Whooo-hoo!
While you’re ordering, I hope that today’s fun fold card will entice you to put the Sweet Bugs bundle, Cute as a Bug DSP, Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes AND the new Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder into your cart! Take a look-see:
As you can see, it’s an easy Z-fold card – which gives a fun spot to showcase the cute mushrooms from the bundle!
I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Cajun Craze cardstock that I scored at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″ on the long side. I folded the 2 3/4″ score as a mountain and the 5 1/2″ score line as a valley.
I matted two 2 3/8″ x 3 7/8″ pieces of new Cute as a Bug DSP on Petal Pink mats and then adhered them to the two smaller panels of the card base using Liquid Glue.
For the back panel, I adhered a 2 3/4″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Cute as a Bug DSP to the right end of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Petal Pink cardstock – leaving a “normal” reveal on top, bottom and right side.
On a 2 1/4″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock, I inked and stamped part of a Sweet Bugs sentiment in Cajun Craze ink. In the corner, I stamped the little mushrooms image from the set in Old Olive ink. I colored them with the Light Cajun Craze and Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. Then I used the Dark Mossy Meadow Blend to add a little “grass” at the bottom. I added an Old Olive flower by the sentiment – and colored the petals with the Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend.
I adhered the panel to the Petal Pink mat and then used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the back panel of the card base.
For the art, I started by using the largest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut out a Vellum Specialty Paper circle and embossed it in the new Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder (coming on 6 Jan). Using Stampin’ Seal – I adhered it to edge of the front Z-fold panel.
Using the Sweet Bugs dies, I cut out some foresty images:
– A large and a small mushroom from Very Vanilla cardstock.
– I used the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend to outline the marks embossed into the die cuts.
– I used the brush end of the Dark Darling Duckling Stampin’ Blend – striking it on an acrylic block – to add splatters to the two die cuts.
– A large mushroom cap, two large stems and two small stems from Old Olive cardstock.
– A large and a small mushroom cap from Cajun Craze cardstock.
– Four large flowers (two of each style) from Basic White cardstock.
– A flower center from Cajun Craze cardstock.
– The three little bugs from Darling Duckling cardstock.
I used the Light Petal Pink and Light Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends to color the centers of two of the large flowers – then I adhered them with Liquid Glue to the top of the two smaller stems.
I used a Small Blending Brush to color the base of one of the other large flowers with Petal Pink ink and adhered it to a large stem. On the final large flower – I adhered a Cajun Craze flower center with Liquid Glue. See how the petals of one flower (the inked one) go UP and the other (with the die cut center) go DOWN! Two different flowers with one die cut! 🙂
I popped the Cajun Craze mushroom caps to the tops of the mushrooms with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then I used Liquid Glue and Dimensionals to adhere all the pieces and parts to the embossed Vellum circle. Note: The only Dimensionals that I used are under the two smaller flowers – with Liquid Glue on their stems. Just to add a little more dimension.
I tied a bow with two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with a Glue Dot.
On a piece of Petal Pink cardstock, I stamped the Sweet Bugs sentiment in Cajun Craze ink. I used scissors to fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tucked a few of the uber-cute Lady Bug Garden Epoxy Shapes in and around the little scene and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Sweet Bugs mushrooms on the front…
…and more of the Cute as a Bug DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Okay – I don’t really care all that much for bugs and mushrooms in my garden (except the good kind of bugs like bees and ladybugs) but…I LOVE them in paper and ink! Stampin’ Up! got it so right when they called this the Cute as a Bug DSP and Sweet Bugs bundle, don’t you think?! Just too danged cute and sweet! I KNOW you’re going to want the whole suite! 🙂
I hope you like!

So many spots to sit.
And believe me – she uses them ALL! And if you happen to be in one that SHE wants to sit in…you’d best just make room in your lap.
It’s just…easier! 🤷♀️
