Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop! Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Celebrate! Be sure to check out everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!
Birthdays are a great cause for celebration and SO is the new Beach Boardwalk Suite – coming to you on 6 Jan in the new Jan-Apr 2026 Mini Catalog. I love the palm trees and die cut Ferris wheel in the Boardwalk Fun bundle! Take a look-see:
I know – you can almost smell the hot dogs and hear the whEEEEEE’s from the roller coaster!
I started by cutting a piece of the palm-tree-strewn Beach Boardwalk DSP. At the bottom, I stamped the roller coaster image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
Using the Boardwalk Fun dies I cut out a Ferris wheel and the roller coaster cars from Basic Black cardstock.
I adhered the roller coaster cars over the stamped cars – using Liquid Glue – then I matted the panel on Basic Black cardstock for the card front. And to make adhering the next pieces easier, I went ahead and adhered the card front to the front of the Petunia Pop card base with Liquid Glue.
I put lots of little pieces of Black Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the die cut Ferris wheel and adhered it to the card front – letting it “fall” off the bottom and sides of the card front.
One of the designs of the Beach Boardwalk DSP has a bunch of tickets and banners printed on it. The tickets can be cut out with a die in the Boardwalk Fun die set. On one of the banners, I stamped a Boardwalk Fun sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
I used scissors to cut out the sentiment.
I adhered a cute little balloon bouquet from the new – and totally cool! – Beach Boardwalk Puffy Stickers (part of the Suite and available on 6 Jan 2026!) to the Ferris wheel.
Then I added the sentiment with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Beach Boardwalk Puffy Sticker…stars? Glimmers?…and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Boardwalk Fun sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped two palm trees from the set in Tuxedo Black. And – I adhered a balloon from the Beach Boardwalk Puffy Stickers.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic Black mat and into the Petunia Pop card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Boardwalk Fun palm trees on the front…
…and more of the Beach Boardwalk DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Doesn’t this Beach Boardwalk Suite make you think of summer? I KNOW winter has barely begun but…the thought of longer, warmer days is a nice one – and will be even MORE so when this Boardwalk Fun bundle and all the goodies that go along with it! – are live in January (and all thru the Spring!). And the Puffy Stickers! I love them!
