Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day!! Hope your week is going well – it’s our first FULL day in the second session of this year’s 2025 Krew Retreat! We’re already having a great time and getting to know each other even better! AND – making cool projects that I’ll share with you next week! On top of that – it’s massage day! Whoo-hoo!
Todays’ birthday card is a cool fun fold card – an accordion fold – that I think you’re going to like – made with the Online Exclusive Painterly Pears DSP and the Delightful Wishes bundle from the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog! Take a look-see:
I started by adhering a piece of gorgeous Painterly Pears DSP on a Petal Pink mat for the card front. Then I cut a Secret Sea circle using the largest Stylish Shapes circle die and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I cut out a Pecan Pie branch using the Delightful Wishes die and then adhered it to the circle with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Delightful Wishes multi-flowers image – using Daffodil Delight ink – full strength for the more detailed part of the image and stamped-off-once Daffodil Delight ink for the less detailed fill image. I also stamped a bunch of Granny Apple Green leaves.
I cut everything out using the bundled Delightful Wishes dies.
I adhered the leaves with Liquid Glue. Then I added the flowers – most with Stampin’ Dimensionals – the smallest little bud used Liquid Glue!
I used the two dies in the Delightful Wishes die set to cut out a Petal Pink “shadow sentiment” and a Secret Sea “detailed sentiment” and adhered them together with Liquid Glue. Then used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the card front.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Delightful Wishes sentiment in Secret Sea ink and cut it out with the Delightful Wishes label die.
I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally, I added some Cloud Cover 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls and the card front was done!
The fun in this fun fold card is on the inside. 🙂
I cut a 4″ x 12″ piece of Painterly Pears DSP and scored it on the long side at 3″, 4″, 5″, 6″, 7″, 8″ and 9″. Then I folded the score lines into an accordion – starting with a valley on the 3″ score and ending with a valley on the 9″ score.
Using Liquid Glue on the first 3″ and the final 3″, I adhered the fold into the card base – making the reveal even all the way around the edges.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Delightful Wishes sentiment in Secret Sea ink and cut it out with the next-to-largest Stylish Shapes square die – putting the sentiment in the bottom right corner. Over the top, I stamped a Delightful Wishes flower in full-strength and stamped-off-once Daffodil Delight ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the square onto one of the folds of the accordion.
I adhered the card front on with Liquid Glue and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Delightful Wishes flower on the front…
And more of the Painterly Pears DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! With new (exciting!) things coming all the time, it’s easy to lose track of things like the Delightful Wishes bundle from our Annual Catalog and the Painterly Pears DSP – a fave in the Online Exclusives! But – don’t do that! Keep them where you can find them – and then…maybe make this cool accordion fun fold! 🙂
