Stampin’ Up! Delicate Pines Winter Wishes Card with Video

Good morning and happy Friday, y’all!  Pat yourself on the back – we made it thru another week!  Whoo-hoo!  And – did you have fun yesterday buying stamp sets and stamp tools? I bought some things, for sure – I do LOVE getting my Demo Discount on TOP of the customer discount!  Boom!

My card today uses one of my favorite new Online Exclusives – the Delicate Pines bundle.  With its pretty stamped AND die cut pine-flakes (snow-boughs?!?) and sweet wintery or Christmas-y sentiments – it’s just flat wunnermus!  I added some sparkle with the beautimous Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper – from the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog.  Take a look-see:Stampin' Up! I started with a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White cardstock.  Using a Small Blending Brush, and starting in the center of the card – I added Petunia Pop ink (lightly near the center and then progressively darker as I moved towards the edges.

When I had that about how I wanted it, I used a second Small Blending Brush to add Night of Navy ink all the way to the outside edges of the panel. Then I went back to the Petunia Pop Small Blending Brush and used it to blend the two colors where they overlap.

Then, across the bottom and up each side of the panel (not across the top), I stamped the pine bough image from Delicate Pines in stamped-off-once Petunia Pop ink.

To add some sparkle – it looks sort of like stars! – I used the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush – striking it against a hard object (like an ink pad) to add splatters to the card front.  LOVE!! 🥰😍

I trimmed the panel down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and matted it on a piece of Silver Foil.  I adhered it to the front of my Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the collage, I stamped the large snowflake from Delicate Pines in Versamark Ink on a piece of Cloud Cover cardstock.  I sprinkled it with Basics WOW! Embossing Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool.  When it was cool, I cut it out with the large die from the Delicate Pines die set.

I also used the dies in the set to cut out two of the large two-ended pine boughs from the blue Peaceful Days Glimmer Paper and three of the small two-ended pine boughs from the silver Peaceful Days Glimmer Paper.  I also cut out the leaf and a small snowflake from Silver Foil.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals near the center of the large embossed snowflake to adhere it to the card front. I used Liquid Glue to adhere the Silver Foil die cut small snowflake and the three small silver Glimmer Paper boughs to the Cloud Cover snowflake.

I cut the two large two-ended boughs in half and to cut the Silver Foil leaf into two pieces.

I used Liquid Glue to tuck the leaves and pine boughs under the snowflake – making sure to not extend past the edges of the card base.

I tied a bow from new White & Gold Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

On a piece of Cloud Cover cardstock, I stamped the Delicate Pines sentiment in Petunia Pop ink.  I adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I added seven clear Faceted Snowflakes and the card front was done!

I used the Small Blending Brushes – very dry, without adding any more ink – to add Petunia Pop and Night of Navy ink across the bottom of a Basic White Panel.  Then I stamped the Delicate Pines bough in stamped-off-once Petunia Pop ink.  Note: in the video (linked below) – I only did this in the corner!  Take a look-see and decide which you prefer for when you make YOUR version! 🙂

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the shading and stamped-off-once pine boughs on the front…

…and I stamped a small Delicate Pines snowflake in Petunia Pop ink and the middle smaller snowflake in Night of Navy on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Oh my – I do love this Delicate Pines bundle!  Pine boughs – and pine cones – and snowflakes – all rolled up into a beautiful set with gorgeous die cuts and stamped images.  So many pretty possibilities!  And I love the blended background, don’t you!?  It looks sort of celestial to me!  🙂

Finn Fan Fix

Wednesday was Finn’s day.  He went to the groomer in the morning – I think he lost about 5 pounds of fur.  And looked so bootiful!

He’s always so silky and smooth – and SHINY white!

In the afternoon – we had to go see Dr. Chris for shots, check up, heartworm test – you know.  The go-ahead-and-get-a-second-mortgage Annual Physical!

Still smiling – he’s just happy to go (and is thinking…so there, Addy!  Not to worry – Addy’s day at the groomer is TODAY!).

SLIGHTLY less thrilled once we got in the exam room!

Of course – the FIRST thing they do is…put a guy on the danged scale! 🙂

But – when he came back in…his weight is down to 72.8 pounds (it was 85 last year!!)!  Whoo-hoo!  He WILL live to be 27!!

On the way home – showing off that svelte bod!

Hubba hubba! 🙂
