Happy middle-of-the-weekend, ya’ll! Hope you’re getting stuff done (if that was your plan) or…NOT (if THAT was your plan!). We didn’t do much yesterday – I DID get my flu shot, though, so….go me! 🤷♀️. And THIS afternoon I’ll be on our monthly Amy’s Inkin’ Krew team meeting and this is craft-along month! Yeah for fun projects with friends!
My card today is one that is quick and easy – it features the fun Stay Warm set – one of our Reversibles stamp sets! I added a sentiment – and a couple of fun little die-cuts – from the Snowy Delights bundle. They’re both from the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog! And I pulled out one of my faves from the Online Exclusives – the Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP! Take a look-see:
The layout is from the Try a Sketch on Tuesday sketch challenge!
And the colors are from the Color Throwdown challenge.
I started by adhering a piece of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP on Crushed Curry for the card front.
On a smaller piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the detailed side of the Stay Warm sweater in Cajun Craze ink.
I cleaned the stamp and flipped it upside down on the block. Then I used that flat side to stamp over the image in stamped-off-TWICE Old Olive ink. That’s the beauty of the Reversibles – a detailed image AND the fill image – all in one stamp! Boom!
I matted the panel on Crushed Curry and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
From a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock, I used the die in the Snowy Delights die set to cut out a bunch of little stars and dots.
Using Liquid Glue – and a little patience! – I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I tied a bow from Old Olive Linen Thread – from the Early Espresso & Old Olive Baker’s Twine pack – and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Snowy Delights sentiment in Old Olive ink and cut it out with the next-to-smallest Stylish Shapes circle die.
I popped the sentiment over the bow and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the Stay Warm mittens – detailed side – in Cajun Craze ink and the fill side with stamped-off-twice Old Olive ink in the corner of a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Cajun Craze card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Stay Warm mittens on the front…
…and more of the Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! It’s almost sweater season – maybe? – and the Stay Warm stamp set will have you covered (see what I did there?!) with a cozy sweater, cap, socks and mittens! And the Snowy Delights bundle – with pretty sentiments (in beautiful fonts) and all the snowflakes! – is a great addition to your wintery projects. Do NOT forget about the Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP – find it in the Online Store and getcha some!
I hope you like!

More farm work yesterday. Miss Cady had removed her mask and left it…somewhere!…in the pasture on Friday.
So – Wayne and “the hands” went down to find it.
Upon their – unsuccessful! – return….
…the scout lead the way.
With Miss Addy…
…sitting on her spot.
He looks pretty good wrapped around her little paw, doesn’t he?! 😂

Such a cute card! The plaid background is perfect with the sweater image. And no…it doesn’t look like she’s got his number at all. 😂
No – she doesn’t wrap him around her paw every day at all!! LOL! Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Mary, what a cute sweater card! I love how you used the reverse side to add color. How on earth did I miss the plaid paper in the new catalog?!?! I love it, and you’ve used it on your card in such a perfect way. Thank you for sharing your card, your step-by-step instructions, and your creativity with us at Try A Sketch On Saturday!! -Donna
So happy that you liked it, Donna! And yes – it’s STILL in there! Yeah!! 🙂
Love the plaid framimg around your sweater image and fun interpretation of our sketch challenge. Thanks for sharing with us at TSOT.
Thanks much, Suzanne – appreciate you stopping by!! 🙂
What a fabulous cozy card. Could this mean that winter is not far away? Love the autumnal colors you chose. Thanks for joining us at Try A Sketch On Tuesday.

I fear that we’ll skip Fall and go right to winter (although I hope not!!). Thanks so much, Sue! 🙂
How cute – love the sweater and the autumn colours. Thanks for sharing with us at TSOT 🙂
Thanks so much, Alyson – appreciate it! 🙂
I love your stories. We had a cat, Mittens, she passed away two years ago. She was supposed to be my cat and Frank didn’t really want her. Someone had tossed her into our backyard as a tiny kitten, just fur and bones and starving. I took her to the Vet and did all the shots and later had her spayed. I was working and Frank was retired, so Mittens fell in love with Frank. And wouldn’t you know it Mittens had Frank wrapped around her paw and Frank was the cat’s meow. They loved each other so much and then Mittens had no need for me. But I still loved her so much.
LOL – they DO pick their people, don’t they!? And not always the way we want. But it was nice of Mittens to let you live there with them. And God bless you for saving her and taking care of her!! :). Thanks, Bonnie! 🙂
