Stampin’ UP! Gathering Moments Together Thank You Card

Good morning, y’all!  Welcome back to your workweek! Hope it’s starting off uneventfully!! 🙂

My card today is another Sneak Peek – this one of a gorgeous new Suite coming on 3 Sept as part of the September 2025 Online Exclusives!  It’s called the Gathering Together Suite – and I think you’re going to reach for it a LOT for your Fall cards!  The DSP – of the same name – plays a large role – as does the Gathering Moments bundle.  I also used the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder from the Suite to add some cool texture to the card front.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!

I did a quick video on how to make this pretty card, which is posted on Instagram.  If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!

I started by embossing a piece of Basic Beige paper from the new and stunning Gathering Together DSP (an Online exclusives coming on 3 Sep) in the equally new and equally stunning Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder!

I popped the embossed panel onto the front of a Basic Beige card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used two of the Perennial Postage dies – as shown – to die cut a piece of plaid (rectangle) and a leaf-strewn design (square) from the Gathering Together DSP

…and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue – lining up their top sides with each other.

I used the large leaf dies – the outline and the insert that cuts out stitch holes – to cut out a leaf from a piece of Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper (new in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog available on 3 Sept).

I popped the shiny leaf onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a simple bow from two lengths of Early Espresso Linen Thread – YES!!  You read that right!  As part of this Suite – you’re going to find the Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread pack!  Whoo-hoo!

Anywho – I tied the bow and adhered it to the shiny leaf with some Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Gathering Moments sentiment in Cajun Craze ink.  Over the top – I stamped the plaid image from the stamp set in stamped-off-TWICE Crushed Curry and the little dash-marks image in stamped-off-TWICE Peach Pie ink.

I cut out the sentiment with the small Perennial Postage die and popped it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals!

I added five Cajun Craze & Gold Dots (part of the Suite – and available on 3 Sep) and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Gathering Moments sentiment in Cajun Craze on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  Then I inked one of the small leaves from the set in Peach Pie ink. Using a Sponge Dauber – I added some Crushed Curry ink around the edges of the image and stamped it in the corner of the panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Basic Beige card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the little Gathering Moments leaf – colored with Peach Pie and Crushed Curry ink – on the front…

…and more of the Gathering Together DSP on the envelope flap.

Et voila!  Well – this Suite is going to be a HUGE hit, I can feel it!  We ALL love plaids – and leaves – and Fall colors!  And the Gathering Together DSP brings it ALL to the table!  Add super sentiments and images – AND amazing die cuts! – from the coordinating Gathering Moments bundle and you’re set! Round out your Fall-fun with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder, Early Espresso & Old Olive Baker’s Twine and Cajun Craze & Gold Dots and…BOOM!

BACK-TO-SCHOOL SALES TAX HOLIDAYS COMING UP!

The 2025 back-to-school sales tax holiday season begins this weekend and there are twelve states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Ohio, South Caroling, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia) offering a sales tax holiday for school supplies during the months of July and August. Products that are eligible according to the statute include “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes.”  Click the table below to open the chart and see what is available and when! 🙂

Please note that you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! DURING the tax holiday period to receive these items tax-free. Also, keep in mind that this is a STATE SALES TAX holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.

FLORIDA – YOU’RE UP ALL MONTH!!

For all y’all that live in Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Wisconsin…sorry!  Those states suspended the sales tax holiday again this year. 🙁
