Well – happy Monday, y’all! Hope things are looking good for your week – and maybe a little cooler, too! I know I’m sure ready for some cooler days – and Finny FOR SURE is! It’s not fittin’ outside for big furry dogs these days!
My card today might make you feel a little cooler – it’s pretty in pink and yellow with the Charming Day bundle, a few Elements of Text and some cheery, crisp Floral Delight DSP. Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.
And the spring-y colors are from this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.
I did a quick video on how to make this pretty card, which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I started with some pretty gingham paper from the Floral Delight DSP that I matted on Pretty in Pink cardstock for the card front.
From Basic White cardstock, I cut out the largest Stylish Shapes square and the middle Textured Notes die set rectangle.
On the Textured Notes die cut – I stamped a couple of Elements of Text image in Smoky Slate ink.
Then I added a couple of splatters in Pretty In Pink. I cut the rectangle into two pieces and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue. Note: I separated the pieces to make it look longer.
On the Stylish Shapes square – I stamped the largest round image from Elements of Text in Smoky Slate. I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals
I used the largest die from the Charming Day set to cut out a Darling Duckling flower – which I adhered with Liquid Glue.
I tied a simple bow from Gray Granite Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Charming Day sentiment in Pretty in Pink ink and cut it out with the smallest Stylish Shapes banner die.
I adhered the sentiment over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Pretty in Pink gems from the 2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped another Charming Day sentiment in Pretty in Pink ink on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped the round Elements of Text image in Smoky Slate and the splatters in Daffodil Delight ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Basic Gray card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Elements of Text images on the front…
…and more of the Floral Delight DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Charming Day is such a versatile bundle – stamp and color the pretty floral images or…just die cut and adhere! And it has super sentiments, too! Easy peasy and beautiful! I like the addition of the subtle Elements of Text images and the Floral Delight DSP is a great place to start with it’s crisp gingham design! 🙂
I hope you like!

BACK-TO-SCHOOL SALES TAX HOLIDAYS COMING UP!

The 2025 back-to-school sales tax holiday season begins this weekend and there are twelve states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Ohio, South Caroling, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia) offering a sales tax holiday for school supplies during the months of July and August. Products that are eligible according to the statute include “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes.” Click the table below to open the chart and see what is available and when! 🙂
Please note that you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! DURING the tax holiday period to receive these items tax-free. Also, keep in mind that this is a STATE SALES TAX holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.

For all y’all that live in Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Wisconsin…sorry! Those states suspended the sales tax holiday again this year. 🙁
