Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
The fun Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ DSP was an obvious choice – and a great starting point – for our color challenge this week. I paired it with lots of foliage and a label-turned-vase from the Label Me Grateful bundle – and I even grabbed a cute image from the Sunshine Vibes stamp set. But – the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder is the un-challenged star of this show. Take a look-see:

I started by adhering a piece of that Boho Vibes DSP to a Daffodil Delight mat to make the card front.
On another piece of the Boho Vibes DSP, I stamped the Label Me Grateful sentiment in Secret Sea ink. Then I cut it out with the label die from the bundled die set. I adhered the label – in the vertical position – on the card front with Liquid Glue.
I used the Label Me Grateful dies to cut out a bunch of foliage:
– Three large leaves from Cloud Cover cardstock
– Two large leaves from Secret Sea cardstock
– Three leaves from Daffodil Delight cardstock
– Three “acorn boughs” from Cajun Craze cardstock.
I adhered the foliage to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere a loop-d-loop “bow” made with Cloud Cover 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon.
I embossed a Basic White panel in the amazeballs Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. Using scissors, I carefully snipped out one of the large sunflowers.
I used Sponge Daubers to color the petals Daffodil Delight ink and the flower center in Cajun Craze ink.
Then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the flower over the top of the ribbon and foliage.
I added three Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots – yes, I know…they’re Night of Navy (squint yer eyes!) and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Label Me Grateful sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the little rays image from Sunshine Vibes in Daffodil Delight ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Secret Sea card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
The Basic White Medium Envelope got the Sunshine Vibes rays image in Daffodil Delight on the front…
…and more of the Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Okay – fussing cutting the Sunflower 3D Embossed flower took a few minutes but…SOOO worth it! It simple steals the show here! The Label Me Grateful bundle – with its all-sentiment stamp set and the bundled amazeballs die set – is a perfect pairing! I also re-discovered the pretty Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ DSP – so bright and fun. And the coordinating Sunshine Vibes stamp set added just the right little touch!
