Stampin’ Up! Gallery Blooms & Motifs Sneak Peek Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

When I saw the sketch, my first thought was the pretty three-bloom image in the new Gallery Blooms set (available on 6 May in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog) – so…out it came!  I added a frame, some foliage and a sentiment (from the Gallery Motifs stamp set – also available on 6 May!).  Then I set the whole thing atop the also-new and also wunnermus Beautiful Gallery 6″ x 6″ DSP.  Take a look-see:

And – here’s our sketch!

I also played along – again – with the Tic Tac Toe challenge.  Went across the top (Bright Colors – Flowers – Twine) and down the middle (Flowers – Spring – Dimension).

I started by adhering some pretty new Beautiful Gallery 6″ x 6″ DSP on a Gray Granite mat for the card front.

Using the cool frame die from Gallery Blooms bundle, I cut out a Gray Granite frame – keeping the middle frame for this card.  I embossed it in the new Damask Designs Embossing Folder and then popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the three-flower image from Gallery Blooms in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  When it had dried, I colored the flowers with the Light and Dark Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends. The leaves are colored with Light and Dark Summer Splash Blends.

Then I cut out the image using the coordinating die in the Gallery Blooms die set.

I used the Gallery Blooms dies to cut out two larger leaves from Pool Party cardstock and three small ones n Summer Splash cardstock.

Using Stampin’ Dimensionals near the center of the die cut, I adhered the stamped image over the frame.  Then I tucked the leaves in here and there, securing them with Liquid Glue.

I looped white Baker’s Twine around my hand four times, twisted it into a figure-8 and then used some Liquid Glue to adhere it to the card front.

On a piece of Gray Granite cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Motifs in Versamark Ink and sprinkled it with White Basics WOW! Embossing Powder.  Then I heat set it with the Heat Tool.

When the embossing powder had cooled I used a banner die from the Stylish Shapes die set to cut it out.  I adhered it over the top of the figure-8 “bow” using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added five new Pressed Flower Motifs (available on 6 May) and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped another floral image from Gallery Blooms in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I colored them with the Bubble Bath and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Bubble Bath card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Gallery Blooms image on the front…

…and more of the Beautiful Gallery 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Is it any wonder I’ve fallen in love with the Beautiful Gallery Suite?  Even if the Beautiful Gallery 6″ x 6″ DSP wasn’t stunning (it iS!) – the two bundles in the suite – Gallery Blooms and Beautiful Motifs – are amazing in their own right!  They work perfectly together and with the DSP to give you tons of design options for all your card making projects!  And don’t miss the Damask Designs Embossing Folder for gorgeous tone-on-tone texture!
