Stampin’ Up! Arched Textured Notes Sneak Peek Tri-Fold Card for the SU Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop

Good morning everyone! Welcome to this month’s Fun Folds Blog Hop for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators!  We’ve got a talented line-up and…I think you’re going to like what you see!  This is a once-a-month hop and…all our cards will be fun folds!!  How cool is that?!?

My card today is all about Online Exclusives – some available now – like the Everyday Arches bundle – and some coming soon on 4 March – the Textured Notes bundle and wunnermus Woven Textures DSP – all on a cool Tri-Fold fun fold card.  Take a look-see:

I started with a 3 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock that I scored on the long side at 3 1/2″ and 7″.  Then I folded it into an accordion.

I matted three pieces of the Wood Textures DSP on Mossy Meadow and adhered them to the three panels with Liquid Glue.

I cut out two Basic Beige Everyday Arches using the third-from-largest die in the set.  On each of them, I stamped the Textured Notes woven mat image in stamped-off-once Pecan Pie ink.  Then I stamped the smaller leaf image twice in Old Olive ink.

I embossed both the panels in the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

I stamped the larger leaves image from the set twice in Mossy Meadow ink on a piece of Basic Beige cardstock and cut them out with Paper Snips.

For the front arch, I stamped a sentiment from Textured Notes in Pecan Pie ink on a piece of Basic Beige cardstock and cut it out with the smallest Textured Notes die.

I adhered one of the fussy cut leaves to the arch using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then, I tied a little bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.  Finally, I adhered the sentiment over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the end panel, I adhered another bow tied from the two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with Liquid Glue. I adhered the second fussy cut leaves over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the middle panel, I first stamped the Everyday Arches sentiment in Pecan Pie ink on a piece of Basic Beige cardstock.  Then I cut it out with the third-from-largest Everyday Arches die.

I stamped the Textured Notes woven mat in stamped-off-once Pecan Pie ink, the large leaves in Mossy Meadow and the small leaves twice in Old Olive ink.

To adhere the three arches to the card base, I used my Grid Paper to help me get the height I wanted.  I lined each arch up so the total height of the card is 5 1/4″ – and they’re each centered on their respective panels.

I added some of the new Neutral Matte Dots (also coming on 4 March!) in Basic Beige and Pecan Pie on the three panels and the front was done!

I decided to make another Basic Beige arch and stamp it with the Textured Notes leaves…

and then adhered it to the back of the third panel – as a spot to write a little note – and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Textured Notes leaves in Old Olive ink on the front…

…and more of the Woven Textures DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Wow – how fun is this card?!  I love the simplicity of the fold – and using the Everyday Arches die set was a cool way to decorate them.  Stamping with the Textured Notes images was a great pairing with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing, too!  Woven Textures DSP is…amazing – SOOO much neutral texture.  And this tri-panel fold gave lots of space to show it all off!
