Stampin’ Up! Alpine Season of Golden Greenery Fun Fold Birthday Card

Good morning, all – and happy Sunday!  Hope you’re having a good weekend! 🙂

My card today is a cool – and easy! – fun fold that features some Season of Green and Gold Specialty DSP and a couple of Golden Greenery die cut pine boughs.  And – a couple of sentiments from…the Alpine Air Kit.  Take a look-see:

I started by using Liquid Glue to adhere a piece of Gold Brushed Foil Specialty Paper to a Mossy Meadow panel to make the card front.

I scored and folded a 5 1/4″ x 6″ piece of Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP at 2″ on the long side – and then adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue on the back of the larger end of the panel.

I used the next-to-largest Perennial Postage die to cut out a Mossy Meadow mat – which I adhered to the short panel of the card front using Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Alpine Air sentiment in Old Olive ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and adhered it to the Mossy Meadow Perennial Postage die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the pine bough die in the Golden Greenery die set, I cut out an Old Olive and Mossy Meadow pine bough.

I adhered them to the card front with a little Liquid Glue.

Then I tied a small simple bow from a length of new Gold Woven Thread and adhered it with a dab of Liquid Glue.

I added a few of the Alpine Air sequins and the card front was done.

For the inside, I stamped a second Alpine Air sentiment in Old Olive ink on a Very Vanilla panel.

I used Liquid glue to adhere the panel on the inside of the card base.

Et Voila!  The Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP is so pretty and you KNOW how much I love the Golden Greenery die cut pine boughs, right?!?  I think the Perennial Postage die set might well be one of my favorite “basic” shape sets!  And – how handy that the Alpine Air Kit has such a versatile sentiment set!
