Stampin’ UP! CAS No-Inky Fingers Joyful Little Bit Festive Christmas Card

Good morning from VERY snowy Colorado.  We’re not quite snowed all the WAY in today but…it was a near thing! 🙄. Not gonna lie – Colorado is acting like Georgia did in the Great Snowpocolipse of 2014.  You’d barely know that they they even KNOW what snow is!  AND – what’s with all the school closings?!  When we moved to Colorado from California (a 1000 years ago!) they NEVER closed schools for snow. My brother and I were massively disappointed when we found that out – we were quite sure that snow-days were going to happen a lot!  Nope! We STILL had to walk to school.

Uphill.

Both ways.

In the snow.

My Christmas card today is one that you can do when you really really don’t want ink on your fingers.  Or…nose.   Or…clothes!  It’s ALL about the fun die cuts in the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP and Joyful Sayings Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.  Take a look-see:

I know – that big poinsettia is GORGEOUS!

Truly the hardest thing about this card is picking WHICH die cuts to use!

I started by adhering a Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat with Liquid Glue.  Then I added a couple pine cones & boughs from the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP using Liquid Glue.

Then I added the big poinsettia – also from the DSP pack – with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I picked a pretty, gold-foiled sentiment banner from the Joyful Images Mix & Match Ephemera Pack that I adhered with Liquid Glue.

I added one small poinsettia from A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish off the collage.

Finally, I added some champagne Drusy Adhesive-backed Embellishments and the card front was done!

On the inside, I picked another Joyful Images Mix & Match Ephemera Pack sentiment and adhered it with Liquid Glue to a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Real Red card base and the card was done!  Hit the !!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got another A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP pine bough adhered with Liquid Glue to the front…

…and some pine-festooned paper from the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I TOLD you it was easy, didn’t I?!  The fun thing about the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP is that there are a BUNCH of beautiful die cuts as well as sheets of pretty DSP so you can make tons of projects using the pack.  Add a sentiment from the Joyful Images Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and you’re ready to sign-it-seal-it-send-it!  Boom!

Finn Fan Fix

I’m in Colorado – Finn’s in Georgia!  So..no new pictures till I get home.

Here’s a blast-from-the-past to hold you over! 🙂

From 25 Nov 2022:

While Finn snoozed in his bed yesterday, we had dinner with our friends – and…Princess Jules!

She was sporting her birthday outfit!

Yes.  Yes she IS adorable!! 🙂

Finn’s sister was sporting…a cone!  She’s got a hot-spot that she won’t leave alone so…

Can you guess who’s wearing the gray shirt?

Yes.  Wayne.  Appears ALL the fur-kids know that HE’S the soft touch! 😉

And – not to worry – Finn got a Thanksgiving peppermint!

Such a pretty card! Love the poinsettia images, so quick and easy too! 🙂

  2. Pat C.

Mary, your card design is beautiful, and yes, that poinsettia is gorgeous!

I saw on the news that Colorado was getting dumped with lots of snow and immediately thought of you. Be careful out there!

Hope your mom is doing well with her recovery.

Thanks, Pat – sadly, the snow put the cabash on the surgery so…we’re sort of in holding right now! Appreciate you! 🙂
