Happy weekend, y’all! Today my sister-from-another-mother is coming up to visit for a while. Sally and I met while we were riding counselors at Girl Scout camp when we were in college. We couldn’t be more different from each other – but…if you’ve ever had “that friend” – then you get it. She and I hit it off – okay – it took us a minute (different, remember?) – but…then we clicked and…that was all there was. No matter how long it is between our visits – it’s like it’s been no time at all. It’s going to be awesome to see her! 🙂
My card today is super quick and super easy – thanks to the Joyful Sayings Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and…some of the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP. And – there’s NO stamping anywhere on this card! No inky fingers! Boom! Take a look-see:
I started by adhering a panel of the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP to the front of a Pool Party card base using Liquid Glue.
I trimmed out another piece of the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP from one of the smaller panel pieces in the pack…
….down to 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ and then matted it on Garden Green cardstock.
I adhered the matted panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a simple bow from two lengths of white Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.
I pulled out a sentiment strip from the Joyful Sayings Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and matted it on Garden Green with Liquid Glue.
I adhered the matted sentiment over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals and…wait for it…the card front was done!
On the inside, I picked another of the die cut sentiments from the Joyful Sayings Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and adhered it to a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel inside the Pool Party card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got a die-cut ornament from the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP adhered with Liquid Glue to the front…
…and a little more of the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – thanks to the A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match Specialty DSP and the Joyful Sayings Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, this card couldn’t be any easier! And there’s so much more in these two products – get ready to make cards cards cards!!
