Stampin’ Up! More Than Autumn To Market Card with Video Tutorial

Happy Sunday, y’all – and happy First Official Day of Fall!  It’s for sure my fave time of year here in Georgia – assuming we GET more than a couple of days of Fall weather!

My card today celebrates the arrival of this season of Pumpkin Spice, Apple Cider, Hot Chocolate and so many more good (and calorie-laden!) things!  It’s uses a bunch of elements from the More Than Autumn stamp set and bundled dies from the Sep-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog.  I set it atop some To Market DSP – cut with a Perennial Postage die – to give it that Fall-Farmer’s-Market feel!  Take a look-see:

And the layout for this one was inspired by the As You See It challenge this week.

I started by putting a bunch of the More Than Autumn word stamps – Pumpkin Pie, Apple Cider, Fall, etc – on a single block and using that to stamp around on the front of a Pecan Pie cardbase in Pecan Pie ink.  I filled in the gaps with the pumpkin pie and apple image where I needed it!

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a 1 3/4″ wide strip of woodgrain paper from the To Market DSP to a larger piece of the dotted paper.  I set the largest Perennial Postage die in place and then cut it out to make the card front.

I wrapped a piece of Copper Clay thread – from the new Natural Tones Linen Thread pack (out of stock right now – but expected back around 14 October) around the panel – securing it in the back with a couple of Glue Dots.

For the sentiment – I used the second-from-largest Perennial Postage die to cut out a Basic White panel.  I stamped the two sentiments from More Than Autumn in Pecan Pie and Pumpkin Pie inks.   Then I popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the stamps in More Than Autumn, I stamped and colored a bunch of Autumn goodness!

– I stamped the cup in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White, colored it with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends and cut it out with the die in the set.

– I stamped the image again on a piece of the To Market DSP and cut out just the cup cozy with Paper Snips.  Then I adhered the fussy cut cozy to the stamped/die cut cup with Liquid Glue.

– I stamped the whipped cream in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White, used a Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend to shade under the “layers” of the whipped cream and stamped it with the sprinkles image in Pumpkin Pie ink.  Then I cut it out with the die in the set.

– I stamped the donut in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White, colored the cake part with the Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend and the frosting with the Pumpkin Pie Blends.  Then I cut it out with the die in the set.

– I stamped the pie in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White, colored the crust with the Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend and the filling with the Pumpkin Pie Blends (duh!).  Then I cut it out with the die in the set.

– I stamped the apple three times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White, colored them with the Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend and cut them out with the die in the set.

– I stamped the Pumpkin three times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White, colored them with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends and cut them out with the die in the set.

– I stamped the cinnamon stick in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White, colored it with the Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend and cut it out with the die in the set.

– I used the little leaf die in the set to cut a leaf from Granny Apple Green, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  Each die cut yields two leaf shapes – I used them all!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the whipped cream to the top of the cup and one of the die cut pumpkins to the cup cozy.  Then, from there – I adhered the larger elements (cup, donut, pie) to the card front with Liquid Glue and/or Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I tucked the remainder of the elements in and amongst them with Liquid Glue and the occasional Stampin’ Dimensional (where it made sense!).  🙂

I added some bronze Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins and the card front was done.

For the inside, I stamped the More Than Autumn cup and the pumpkin in Tuxedo Black and the whipped cream in Crumb Cake in the corner of a Basic White panel.   I colored the cup with the Crumb Cake blends, the pumpkin with the Pumpkin Pie blends (again – duh!) and the cup cozy with the Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. I added some shading to the whipped cream with the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend and stamped the sprinkles in Pumpkin Pie ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pecan Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the More Than Autumn cup on the front…

…and more of the To Market DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The To Market DSP seemed like the perfect springboard for this Fall card – and I love the mix of polka-dots and woodgrain!  And, of course, being a Fall Fan – I love the More Than Autumn stamp set and bundled dies.  So many options to make autumnal fun for all your projects!  And – not a calorie in the bunch! 🙂

Finn Fan Fix

Uhm…

Excuse me!

Are you a pony?  Or a mountain goat?!

Whichever – she’s a goofus.

That was Wayne trying to close up the hole in the top of the net that she’d discovered gave her unfettered access to the hay. 🤦‍♀️

She didn’t stay there too awfully long – it’s hard work standing on a pile if you don’t actually HAVE to.

Speaking of – can you imagine her reaction if I’d put a halter on her and ASKED her to get up on that hay bale!?

She’d have looked at my like I was….🤪🤪🤪
