Okay – now – if you haven’t gotten one – or both! – of the new Kits in our Kit Collection – let me give you a look at them – completed.  And then you’re gonna want to go get them right away!

The first kit that I put together was the new Card Keeper Kit!

I was a little surprised that it came in a regular “kit box” – albeit a heavy one!  I discovered that the box – which is BIG (8-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ x 6″) – has been ingeniously designed to unflatten and assemble!

Look down in the bottom – you can see the “tabs” on the sides – they have adhesive strips that you just uncover and use to secure the bottom of the box to the sides.

The outside is really pretty – in Night of Navy leaf-printed foil…

…and – there’s printed labels for the card dividers, too.

Of course – there are ALSO cards to put together – with no stamping required!  All the sentiments are preprinted (and if you want to make cards in Dutch, French or German – we’ve got you covered there, too!).

The 10 cards – in two pretty designs! – went together really fast!

The first design has gold leaves and a pretty vellum die cut circle to accentuate the gorgeous Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party flowers!  You can see the sentiments – there are two of each sentiment in the kit, so…you’ll end up with two Thinking of You, two Happy Birthday, etc

The second design features LOTS of preprinted leaves as well as more gold foil leaves!  All the sentiments are printed in Night of Navy. 🙂

And, I love that they gave us pretty envelopes to coordinate with the cards!

I tucked my new cards inside my new Card Keeper box and…pulled out the SECOND kit – the new Christmas Ornaments kit!

If you’ve followed me for ANY length of time – then you know how I feel about pine boughs – and pine cones – and plaid!  So when I saw that this kit incorporated ALL the things – I had to have it!

This is also a no stamp kit – there’s not even a sentiment! – and ALL the supplies I needed – EXCEPT a Glue Gun (more on that in a sec) – were in the box!

There are 6 large ornaments and 3 small to be made.  All of them start by adding the gold metallic string hangers to the gold hoops (those are actual metal hoops, y’all!).  Then the circles – either plaid or solid Mossy Meadow – are used to sandwich the thread and make the base for adding the leaves and boughs and…little tiny plastic pine cones!

I KNOW!  Think how cute they’d be on a small tree – OR as package toppers!! 🙂

The first design – using the small (3″) hoops – has pine cones and a Cherry Cobbler satin bow (you don’t even have to TIE those!).

The remaining ornaments are on the large (4″) hoops.

The first adds some gold “berries” to the pine cones and the Old Olive plaid background.

And then there’s my fave of the group!  Cherry Cobbler berries and pine boughs and cones and leaves and bows and….the banner is wunnermus!  BOOM!

Now – let’s talk Glue Guns.  I don’t have one.  Well – atcually I DO – but it’s “somewhere” so….yeah, I “don’t have one”.  A Glue Gun would be much easier for adhering the bows to the top of the metal hoops AND for adhering the little pine cones and berry clusters.  Being that I was without – I used 2 – 3 Glue Dots on each element.  I was quite generous.  And it worked – and they feel like they’ll hold.  But…if you DO have a glue gun – it might be useful to have on hand!
