Good morning and happy Friday! Hope your week has been a good one (gotta love those short work-weeks, huh?!) and that you’re looking forward to the weekend!
My card today uses the fun new Humble Home stamp set and bundled Humble Home Punch to make a pretty thank you card. I paired it with a little festive paper from the Sentimental Christmas DSP. And you can get them ALL right NOW in the new Sept-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog – yeah!! Take a look-see:
I played along with The Paper Players theme challenge this week!
I started with a piece of the Sentimental Christmas DSP that I matted on Shaded Spruce for the card front.
Using the largest Stylish Shapes circle die, I cut out a Pecan Pie circle.
Near the bottom, I stamped the Humble Home sentiment in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with white Embossing Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool.
When the embossing had cooled, I dry-embossed the circle in the new and wunnermus Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. Then I adhered the circle to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I tied a simple bow from two lengths of the new Real Red & White Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped the Humble Home house image in Pecan Pie ink and punched it out with the Humble Home punch.
Using Real Red and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Write Markers, I colored the scallops and the roof on the image. I used a Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends to color the door and the trim on the windows.
On a piece of Shaded Spruce, I stamped the Humble Home sentiment in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with white Embossing Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool. When it was cool, I cut it out with the large Stylish Shapes banner die.
I adhered the sentiment banner to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals – centered side-to-side and with the top edge just below the embossed sentiment on the circle.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the house image over the bow – tucking the bottom edge just under the sentiment banner.
I used the Humble Home punch to cut out a Real Red cardstock heart, which I adhered with a little piece of Stampin’ Dimensional.
I added some new Real Red & White Adhesive-backed Peppermints (I know they’re not available right now but they’ll be back in stock SOON!!) – don’t forget the little one on the door of the house!) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the heart image from Humble Home in third-generation (aka stamped-off-TWICE) Real Red in the middle of a Basic White panel. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a strip of the Sentimental Christmas DSP across the bottom of the panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pecan Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Humble Home heart in Real Red on the front…
…and more of the Sentimental Christmas DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Oh my goodness – how sweet is this Humble Home bundle? I love the possibilities – Christmas, New Home, Thank You! And we ALL love a punch, don’t we?! The Sentimental Christmas DSP is one that evokes memories of traditional Christmas colors and designs and it’s going to be a fave. AND – it’s our Product Give-back selection this year – for every pack sold, Stampin’ Up! will give $3 to support Children’s Literacy. So it’s a DOUBLE-GOOD thing! And – the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder is…just perfect!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
He was trying to scratch his ear.
His back foot would go up and…I’d look at him.
He’d stop his foot and stare at me.
I looked away – he tried again.
Cuz I’m sorta mean I may or may not have done that a few times.
That left back foot. See how it’s kinda poised there – at the ready?! That’s the one he was trying to scratch with.
And yes – it might have been a little mean but…look at that picture!!
What a face.
