Stampin’ Up! Snowy Wonder Sneak Peek Scene for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a Sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

It’s hot as the dickens here – again! – and I was thinking about cooler weather so…out came the Snowy Wonder stamp set and bundled dies – and…the pretty Snowy Scenes DSP!  They’re BOTH in the new Sep-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog!  Take a look-see:

And – here’s our sketch!

I started by adhering some of the Snowy Scenes DSP to the front of a Pool Party card base using Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped some Snowy Wonder hills in Pool Party and Garden Green trees near the middle.  Then I added some large snowflakes in stamped-off-once Pool Party and a few in Pool Party and Garden Green ink.  I also added the little “flurry” image a bunch of times in Pool Party ink.  Like…a LOT! 🙂

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Snowy Wonder cabin image in Early Espresso and cut it out with the matching die in the bundle.

I colored the windows with the light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend and the door with the Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blend.

I popped the cabin on with Stampin’ Dimensionals – and then cut a couple of the really cute trees – two in Garden Green and one in Pool Party.  Those I added with Dimensionals next to the cabin.

Then I colored some “ground” under the cabin and trees with the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.

I adhered the panel to a Garden Green mat with Liquid Glue.

I wrapped some new Pool Party 5/8″ PomPom Ribbon (available 4 Sept 2024!) around the panel – top and bottom – securing them on the back with Glue Dots.

I stamped a Snowy Wonder sentiment in Garden Green ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock, cut an angle on the right end and then adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped some trees and snowflakes in Garden Green and Pool Party on a Basic White panel.  I added some ground under the trees with the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pool Party card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got trees and flurries on the front…

…and more Snowy Wonder DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I know!  You’re feeling cooler already – thanks to the pretty Snowy Scenes DSP and the cabin in the woods from the Snowy Wonder bundle! I love that there are GREEN snowflakes, don’t you?!  Such a fun way to make a winter wonderland!! You’re going to want this Suite – and…we’re less than ONE WEEK from LAUNCH!  Whoo-hoo!!
