Happy Monday, y’all! Hope you had a great weekend – and that your week is shaping up to be awesome! Tomorrow’s a big day! DSP sale starts. Two new kits released in the Kits Collection. And…tomorrow is PRE-ORDER DAY, too! BOOM-chaka-la-ka!! I get to order from the new Sep – Dec 2024 Mini Catalog – one of the big perks of being a demonstrator!
At the same time – I’ll order a bunch of boxes of the catalogs for all my customers! I’ll expedite them if I’m able to and then get them back out to y’all quick as I can! If you’ve ordered $50 or more from me in the past 12 months – you should be on my mailing list. If you’re not sure…reach out and I’ll check! 🙂
Speaking of DSP Sale – the beautiful Wildly Flowering DSP is just ONE of the FOURTEEN (all from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog) that will be on sale at 15% off from 4 – 31 Aug! I used it with the Stack Cut & Shuffle technique to make three pretty thank you cards – pairing it with the Wildflower Designs bundle. Take a look-see:
The layout – which was tailor-made for this technique! – is from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
I did a quick video on how to make this one, which is posted on Instagram. You can see it on YouTube right here!
I started with three pieces of Wildly Flowering DSP – in three different designs. On the solid Crumb Cake panel – it looks like linen fabric – I stamped a small floral image from Wildflower Designs all over in Crumb Cake ink.
Then I stacked all three pieces up and used my Paper Trimmer to cut 1 1/2″ off the bottom of the stack. I kept the papers in the same order and turned the stack. Once again – I cut 1 1/2″ from the left edge.
I put one piece of each shape into three stacks – see how to do that in the short video linked at the end!
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the three panels to my Boho Blue mat to make the card front. And – while I was at it – I did ALL three card fronts at the same time! I mean…why not?!
Using some Stampin’ Seal+, I adhered a loop-d-loop of Boho Blue 2023-2025 In Color Jute Twine.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the little Wildflower Designs floral (it’s the same one I used on the first DSP panel) in Moody Mauve ink. Under it, I stamped the sentiment in Boho Blue. I stamped that combo three times – and cut them all out with the smallest shape die in the Wildflower Designs set.
I adhered the sentiment over the twine with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added three Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins and the card front – FRONTS!! – were done!
On the inside, I simply stamped the floral in Moody Mauve in the corner of a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel inside my Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done. Well – THREE cards were done!
Now – on the short video – you’ll see I used Linen Thread for those cards. I like it, too, don’t you?!
You can use Linen Thread – you could use Baker’s Twine – you could use the Boho Blue or Moody Mauve 2023-2025 In Color Jute. Whatever you have and whatever makes you smile! 🙂
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Wildflower Designs floral in Moody Mauve on the front…
…and more of the Wildly Flowering DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Stack. Cut. Shuffle. What a fun technique – and a great way to get a bunch of cards quick like a bunny! And the Wildly Flowering DSP is a perfect choice for it, don’t you think!? I like the pretty florals and sentiments in Wildflower Designs, too – so pretty!!
If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts you’ll need are down below! As I mentioned above – I posted a short video on Instagram this morning on how to make this card. If you’d like to watch that – click right here! 🙂
