Good morning and Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day! Hope your week is going well, y’all! And if it isn’t – we’re at the half-way point…you can do this! 😎
For today’s offering, I used some pretty Lily Pond Lake 6″ x 6″ DSP and the Labeled With Love Die Bundle to make an easy and pretty Birthday card. Take a look-see:
I borrowed a sketch that you’ll find – along with 21 OTHER handy sketches – on page 22 of the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog! That’s right – 22 sketches on page 22. Coincidence?! 🤷♀️
I started by adhering a piece of Lily Pond Lake 6″ x 6″ DSP on a Peach Pie mat for the card front.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the butterfly outline image from Labeled With Love twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. To color them, I inked the fill image from the set in Peach Pie ink.
Then, using a Sponge Dauber, I added a little Cajun Craze ink to the middle of the fill image. When I stamped it – that little bit of darker color added a nice bump of depth!
And – it’s hard to tell from the picture, but…I brushed the butterflies with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, too!
I cut them out with the second-from-largest Stylish Shapes square die – and used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the card front.
I added a little strip of Stampin’ Seal and used that to adhere a loop-d-doo of Basic Beige 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon.
On a piece of Pool Party cardstock, I stamped the frame image and the sentiment from Labeled With Love in Pretty Peacock ink.
I cut out the framed sentiment using a die from the bundled Labeled With Love die set and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Note: this is one of those fun bundles that you can select as a DIE BUNDLE (which happens to be ON SALE thru the end of the month)…OR…you can select it as a PUNCH BUNDLE. OR – you can do like I did – I bought the DIE BUNDLE and then bought the Punch a la carte! Just to keep my options WIDE open!! 😉
I added a bunch of Peach Pie Adhesive-backed Dappled Dots and the card front was done.
For the inside, I added a second Labeled With Love sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White panel. Then I stamped and colored the Labeled With Love butterfly in the corner of the panel. And…brushed it with the Wink of Stella! 🙂
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel on the inside of my Basic Beige card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Labeled With Love butterfly on the front…
…and more of the Lily Pond Lake 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I really like the versatility of the Labeled With Love stamp set – lots of pretty images and sentiments for your projects. It’s so cool that you can get it either as a DIE bundle or as a PUNCH bundle – so you can pick which cutting method works for you! Or – get the dies and the punch and then you can pick! And – the Lily Pond Lake DSP surprised me again – it’s just full of beautiful designs that are great on so many different projects! Boom!
I hope you like!

Such a pretty card! Love the colors and the layout is great! Poor Finn, it’s rough having a winter coat on all of the time! 🙂
Thank you, ma’am!! And yes – he often wishes for a ZIPPER!! 🙂
Gorgeous card, Mary. The sentiments might make me buy this set. Finn is one lucky doggo to have his own fan 🙂
But – only ONE fan! Life is not as good as he might make it look!! LOL!! Thanks, Nel! 🙂
I really enjoy your videos. Your conversation is amusing and informative. And fun. Love your reminding me of some very good songs of the past. Take this comment as a compliment and continue the fun videos. Thanks, Mary.
Susan
Thanks so much – I’m so glad that you enjoy them! 🙂
Love this simple card…just received this set yesterday (stamp and punch). Finn knows how to stay cool.
Yes he does! Thanks, Charlotte! 🙂
