Stampin’ Up! Journey of Thoughtful Expressions Card

Happy Saturday, y’all!  Today we’re headed into Split, Croatia.  It looks like it’s a gorgeous city!

My card today features the beautiful Thoughtful Journey DSP and a simple sentiment from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set.  With a cool design right from the sketches in the new catalog (page 22, in case you’re interested)!  Take a look-see:

I started by stamping the floral image from Thoughtful Expressions in Mossy Meadow ink all over the front of my Mossy Meadow card base.

Next up – I used the largest Deckled Rectangle die to cut out a piece of beautiful new Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

From the Thoughtful Journey DSP, I cut a rectangle with the second-from-largest Deckled Rectangle – and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the large label die from Stylish Shapes to cut out two pieces of the Thoughtful Expressions Specialty DSP – same color that I’d already used – and cut them both in half.

I adhered the now-four pieces of Stylish Shapes banners to the card front, separated a bit – using Liquid Glue.

I added a loop-d-loop of Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon – adhering it with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped my pretty sentiment – I LOVE this one! – on a peachy piece of Thoughtful Journey DSP and cut it out with the second-to-largest Stitched Shapes circle die.

I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Petunia Pop dots from the 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots and the card front was done!

For the inside,  I used the largest Deckled Rectangle to cut another piece of Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP and adhered it inside the card with Liquid Glue.  Then I cut the next smallest Deckled Rectangle from Basic White and stamped the Thoughtful Expressions image in Mossy Meadow in the corner of the die cut.  I colored the flowers with the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.

I adhered the panel to the mat with Liquid Glue and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Thoughtful Expressions image on the front…

…and more of the Thoughtful Expressions Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I don’t know what’s prettier – the Thoughtful Journey DSP with it’s beautiful landscapes and watercolor-y images – or the Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP with it’s pearly, ombre-colored pages.  Best thing?  Get them BOTH!  😎 And don’t forget the wonderful Thoughtful Expressions stamp set!
