Stampin’ Up! Lucky Clover Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  We’ve got a great sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I’m playing with another new bundle from the Jan – Apr 2023 Mini Catalog – the Lucky Clover bundle – for this card!  It’s very cute AND it’s a PUNCH bundle!  🙂  I also used it as an excuse to use a little more of the beautiful Dainty Flowers DSP – a FREE paper pack from the Jan – Feb 2023 Sale-A-Bration catalog!  Take a look-see:

And here’s the sketch we were working with!

I thought this was the cutest bundle when I first saw it – and who doesn’t love a PUNCH!?  This one cuts out the largest shamrock image from the Lucky Clover stamp set!

Using the little splatters image from the Lucky Clover set, I stamped all over the front and inside of my Blushing Bride card base with Blushing Bride ink.

From a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock, I punched out 6 shamrocks with the Lucky Clover punch.  I embossed them all in the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered them to the sides of a piece of Shaded Spruce paper from the Regals 6″ x 6″ DSP pack.

Then I used my Paper Trimmer to cut the card front down to its finished size of 3 3/4″ x 5″.  Then I matted it on Basic White cardstock for the card front using Stampin’ Seal.

I matted a piece of the Dainty Flowers DSP (coming on 5 Jan 2023 in the Jan – Feb 2023 Sale-a-Bration catalog and available for FREE with a $50+ order!) on Basic White and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large image from Lucky Clover in Parakeet Party and punched it out with the Lucky Clover punch.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the punched shamrock to the card front.

I tied a simple bow from Parakeet Party twine – from the 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine Pack – and adhered it with a little dab of Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Lucky Clover sentiment in Shaded Spruce on a piece of Basic White and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes label die. Then I adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I colored a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels with my Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend and adhered them to the card front – finishing it off!

For the inside, I stamped the medium sized shamrock from the Lucky Clover set in Parakeet Party on a Basic White panel.  I added the splatters image – it’s actually a smattering of clovers! – in Blushing Bride ink.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Basic White mat and into the Blushing Bride card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the medium shamrock and splatters image on the front…

…and more of the Shaded Spruce Regals 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Cute bundle, right?!  Lucky Clover – with its three shamrocks and super cute fonts (I love them!) – is perfectly paired with the big and easy-to-use Lucky Clover Punch!  And I love the pink-and-green color palette – it says Spring, don’t you think!?  The beautiful Dainty Flowers DSP is a great complement!
