Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all! Can you believe that we’re less than ONE WEEK AWAY from the launch of the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog?! I am so excited for y’all to be able to order all the goodies we’ve been sharing with you! Of course – that also means that you’ve got less than a week to grab those things from the CURRENT catalog that will be going away on the 2nd!! There’s still some great deals left, too!
But – this card is another sneak peek. And it’s going to blow you away! Not my card so much, but…the Happiness Abounds stamp set and amazeballs Blossoming Happiness dies that I used to create it! And – for the first time, I used the gorgeously gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP with it’s actual SUITE! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from The Paper Players sketch challenge.
And I thought the card and the theme fit well with the Just Us Girls Word Week challenge. 🙂
I started with a piece of Hues of Happiness DSP that I adhered to the front of my Mossy Meadow card base using Liquid Glue.
For the white panel, I cut the end of a Basic White panel at an angle using one of the edge dies from the Blossoming Happiness Die set (it’s the top one in the picture below!).
I used the large detailed die to cut out the design from the middle of the panel. This die doesn’t cut anything “out” – it cuts the design “in” to the cardstock!
In the top corner, I stamped the sentiment from Happiness Abounds in Mossy Meadow ink.
I popped the angled panel onto the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next up, I selected several dies from the Blossoming Happiness set and cut out three gorgeous roses and four double-leaf images from one of the papers in the Hues of Happiness DSP! Y’all – I love when dies cut DSP images – and this die set/DSP combo is pretty amazing – you can cut out SO MANY beautiful roses!!
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody roses and the leaves to the card front.
I tied a multi-loop figure-8 “bow” from some Parakeet Party twine from the new 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine Pack and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.
I used double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the final – Flirty Flamingo – rose over the bow.
Using a Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend, I colored a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and adhered them here and there around the roses. And the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Happiness Abounds in Mossy Meadow on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped a small rose from Happiness Abounds in Mossy Meadow. Then I used my Light Petal Pink and Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends to color the flower.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Flirty Flamingo mat and into the card base, and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the small Happiness Abounds rose on the front…
…and more Hues of Happiness DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Wow – Hues of Happiness was my fave new paper BEFORE I found out how many roses and leaves can be die cut with the Blossoming Happiness dies! The die set is simply amazing and is made even more awesome when combined with the bundled Happiness Abounds set! The sentiments, fonts, flower images – wunnermus!!

Mary… This card is wonderful. So brilliant to have a die set that cuts out flowers from DSP! Love everything about this card. Silly me, to think I am still coloring everything. Thank you so much for joining and sharing at Just Us Girls this week! On a personal side, thank you for sharing your weight loss journey. It is so inspiring and so true. I started in January and am down 47lbs! Doing it the same way as you with one added step…I am counting and logging macros. I find I lose better with lots of protein. Am using My Fitness Pal to log every morsel. Still have a long ways to go but I am excited. So thank you for your honesty and words of wisdom!
