Stampin’ Up! Sun Prints Suite Sneak Peek Thank You and a Video Pre-Order Reveal!

Good morning good morning!  So…new catalog time is CRAZY!  And…AMAZING!  And..so.  Much.  Fun!  I loved getting that big box at the gate – and it was HEAVY!! – and then digging in to see and touch and….okay, I MIGHT have given a few things a tiny pat (like on a kitten’s head!!) cuz they’re just so pretty!  The paper!  My goodness, y’all!  I can not WAIT for y’all to see it and feel it for yourself!

I did a video yesterday to give you a first hand look – you can find the link to it down below!  Enjoy!

And – cuz who can resist???…I used some of my new goodies for my card today.  I pulled out what is destined to be one of the most popular new suites – the Sun Prints Suite.  I used the Nature’s Prints stamp set and bundled Natural Prints Dies – plus the STUNNING Sun Prints DSP.  And…the FERN 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER – yes.  You heard me – fern embossing folder! Take a look-see:

The layout was inspired by the sketch over at the Inspire. Create. Challenge.

And I played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge.  I went across the bottom: Die Cut – Patterned Paper – Green

I started by adhering some of the new Sun Prints DSP to a piece of Gray Granite cardstock to create the card front.  This.  Paper.  Is.  Stunning!

I took a narrow strip of Gray Granite and embossed it in that new Fern 3D Embossing Folder! And I used Liquid Glue to adhere that strip to the card front.

I used the big floral wreath die in the Natural Prints die set (which will be bundled with Nature’s Prints when the new catalog goes live – or….you know.  NOW for Stampin’ Up Demonstrators!) and cut a Basic White wreath, which I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using Stampin’ Seal, I adhered a kind of tight “z” with Gray Granite 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon.

I stamped a nice sentiment from Nature’s Prints in the new Starry Sky color (this is one of the five new 2022-2024 In Colors!) on Basic White and cut it with the label die in the Natural Prints die set.

I also stamped the wildflower image in Soft Succulent and the small flower in Tahitian Tide (another new In Color) – and cut them with their matching dies.

And – I cut some Soft Succulent leaves – yes, there are a lot of foliage options in this new die set!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the Soft Succulent leaves and then popped the sentiment over the ribbon with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The stamped wildflower I adhered with a Dimensional and some Liquid Glue – on top of the sentiment.  Then added the Tahitian Tide flower with Liquid Glue.

I added some Soft Succulent gems from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels and the card front was done!

For the inside, on a Basic White panel, I stamped the Nature’s Prints wildflower twice in Soft Succulent – without re-inking after the first stamp.  Then I added the pretty fern – just had to – in stamped off once Soft Succulent.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Gray Granite mat and into the Starry Sky card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Soft Succulent wildflower and fern on the front…

…and more of the Sun Prints DSP on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  I’m already so in love with this Nature’s Prints bundle – I mean…it is SOOO me!  The foliage images are perfect for collagifying and the fact that they’re cut-outable with the bundled Natural Prints Dies is…icing on the cake!  And the Sun Prints DSP?!?  I just can’t.  It is so perfectly gorgeous!  Way to knock it out of the park, Stampin’ Up!  Add in the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and the Sun Prints Suite is going to be one that you want to have at the TOP of your gotta-get-it-gotta-get-it-RIGHT-NOW list when it all becomes available on 3 May!!

I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

It’s not always easy to find a shady spot big enough.

And – the shady spot moves.

Shady spots are known bad actors and tricksters!
