Stampin’ Up! Prized Peony Garden Love & Thanks for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is For the Girls/Ladies!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

I thought “pretty flowers” when I saw the challenge – and the Prized Peony Bundle came to mind right away!  I combined it with some lovely Peony Garden DSP.  Take a look-see:

I used the sketch side of the FUSION challenge for my layout on this one.

The Just Add Ink challenge fits perfectly.  It’s pretty obvious which two I chose!

Finally, the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge comes into play. I used Pattern Paper – Free – Embellishment (although why the heck I didn’t add a new Bee Trinket is beyond me! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️)

I started with a piece of Gray Granite paper from the Peony Garden DSP that I matted on Gray Granite for the card front.

Next up, I took a second – flower-strewn piece – and cut the scalloped edge with the die in the Peony Die set.  Then I adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I wrapped some Mossy Meadow 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim twice around the panel, securing it in the back with Glue Dots.

I stamped the large Prized Peony image in Gray Granite on Basic White, then I cut it with the matching die in the Peony Die set.

I colored the flower with my Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend and Light Mossy Meadow Blend – using the stamped blending markings in the image – which means it’s super easy to color!

I popped the flower onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the Prized Peony sentiment in Gray Granite on a piece of Petal Pink cardstock and cut it with the next-to-smallest rectangle in the Stitched So Sweetly Die set.

I popped the sentiment over the flower and trim with more Dimensionals.

I tied a simple bow using two pieces of the Mossy Meadow 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

Some Champagne Rhinestones here and there finished off the card front.

On the inside, I stamped another sentiment from Prized Peony in Gray Granite on a Basic White panel.  Over it, in stamped-off-once Petal Pink, I added the geometric image from the set a few times.  In the corner, I stamped another Prized Peony image and colored it with my Blends.  Then I popped on one more Champagne Rhinestone.  Cuz I could! 😉

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Gray Granite mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got another Prized Peony flower on the front…

…and more of the Peony Garden DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This gorgeous Prized Peony stamp set and bundled Peony Dies are coming back in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.  Whoo-hoo!!  BUT – the bundle pricing (10% off!) is GOING AWAY – So…if you don’t have this beauty yet, get it before the current catalog ends on 3 May!  But – the Peony Garden DSP will NOT be back – so…get it right now (and…it’s just $9.20 right now – that’s a 20% savings!)

I hope you like!
